The amount of stubbornness I’m seeing around care companies not willing to call people who have applied for a care role is really baffling me. Do you have any idea how lucky you are that even 1 person wants to work for you? The fact you won’t pick up the phone and speak to people straight away will always confuse me. There’s 144,000 care vacancies in the UK today. Around 450,000 in 10 years. If we don’t stop treating care like a throw away industry then we’re screwed. #CareRecruitment #Retention
This is so true. I apply almost everyday other day for atleast 2-3 jobs mostly indeed or even company own website and you can spend long time to do all the form and than no response at all. At times even have been contacted by dew companies and told me will forward you email for the required documents and al and than just keep on waiting for them. Did follow up and told me that my information is not on system.
It very frustrating .Some of us are health professionals from our country who uses care route to settle in Uk .But our sponsor company is not getting enough shift for us this care companies will treat you like trash when you contact them even with your certificate .l have done more than 400 applications for care jobs and 150 nhs jobs the on thing you keep seeing is unfortunately .l know one day we will also get to the top

6moMy son has recently applied for probably 6 roles across social care and not one employer has bothered to open his application. As he knows this when he views his indeed page;if they were to contact him,he wouldn't bother with them. Why would he? If they can't put the effort in,why should he.
