🌱 How We Can Help Rosebud Continuum Rebuild After Hurricane Milton 🌱 Like many in the Pasco County community, ROSEBUD CONTINUUM was hit hard by Hurricane Milton. In addition to the loss of 20 trees, their 2,500-square-foot greenhouse was completely destroyed. Despite the challenges, their commitment to sustainability education and community engagement remains as strong as ever. 💡 What Makes Rosebud Special: Rosebud Continuum is a beacon of innovation in sustainability education, with composting stations like: Biodigesters for turning food waste into energy. Today is Giving Tuesday and if, like me, you consider nature conservation/restoration vital in the fight against #climatechange (and are a New Englander), please consider donating to the Massachusetts Oyster Project. Oysters play a critical role in the regulation of our coastal ecosystems and the Massachusetts Oyster Project is focused on restoring the native oyster reefs that once populated much of our coastline. Among their myriad benefits: 🦪 A single adult oyster can filter 50 gallons of water today, removing nitrogen and other sediment that can contribute to ocean acidification and harmful algal blooms 🦪 Oyster reefs can dampen the impact of storm surges and limit coastal erosion, much like mangroves 🦪 Oysters promote biodiversity by providing habitats for other marine life To make a donation, follow the link below. Our Pippa made a commitment at the beginning of 2024 to plant a tree for every bid we have helped our clients to win, so today she has made 32 sapling donations to the National Trust. 32 wins - from Term Maintenance Contracts, major airfields, and surfacing frameworks, to footpath surfacing schemes, public realm projects, and water contracts, each one has enabled our clients to keep their teams employed, grow their businesses, and make the difference they want in the world. That makes us very proud 😊 And now, we are doing our small bit help the National Trust to plant and establish 20 million trees by 2030. Trees are essential for life. They clean the air we breathe, lock up carbon as they grow and provide homes for wildlife. Trees are one of our best natural defences against climate change, which is having a devastating impact on places where people and nature can thrive. The National Trust predicts that planting and establishing 20 million trees will, at their peak, store around 300,000 tonnes of carbon a year.  We must plan for the future of woodlands, parklands and orchards so we can tackle the nature and climate crises together. Farmers, rural communities, and frontline communities need emergency assistance, but also a safety net and long term federal programs that are realistic to building on farm resilience to #climatechange. Until we have a #FarmBill proposal that is adaptive, dynamic and makes the bold investments needed to respond to our #climatecrisis, we will always be underprepared and underesourced to face these challenges. 🌊 Andel Poland supports community affected by floods in Silesia 🌊 At Andel, we believe that our mission goes far deeper than providing the best products and services. We are proud to support local communities, especially during challenging times. Recent floods in Silesia have affected thousands of people, destroying homes, infrastructure and forcing many to evacuate. The scale of the damage is extreme - flooded homes, damaged roads and bridges, as well as power and water cuts. With a crisis of this magnitude, any help is of great value. 🏠🚧💧 Our team organized the collection of donations, including food, clothing and cleaning supplies, which went to those most in need. Thanks to the commitment of the entire team, an impressive number of gifts have been collected and have already gone to the affected. 🎁👕🍲 As well Andel as a company supported Polish Red Cross foundation with donation.  🤝 Life in Andel is not only work, but also community and support. 🤝 Every day our employees and Board show that Andel is more than just a place to work. In May 2024, we awarded $118,000 to support and expand Buffalo ranch operations.
