Take a walk in their shoes. 👀 Are you aware of the top three immediate issues concerning reconstructive breast surgery, other than pain? According to many Cosmetic Plastic Reconstructive Surgeons and their patients, they are: washing off the “hospital” feeling, sleeping and leakage, and self-confidence and self-esteem. Fortunately, the BulbPendant is a solution that addresses all three issues and helps reduce staff burnout. Here's how: 1) The BulbPendant is specifically designed to be worn during showering, hands-free. This makes it easy and simple for patients to walk in and out of the shower, without the hassle of changing into and out of a second device meant for showering. 2) Patients can now sleep comfortably in their own bed without fear of rolling over and creating a leakage event. The BulbPendant can be moved to create a comfortable sleeping posture, eliminating the need to sleep in a recliner. 3) With the BP easily concealed underneath personal clothing, patients can eliminate fear, hesitation, anxiety, and other concerns before going into public. The BulbPendant is a game-changer for both patients and staff. Patients now have hands-free use and no hassles, and staff can rest easy knowing they have helped to reduce burnout. Take a step in the right direction and try the BulbPendant today! #breastsurgeon #plasticsurgery #surgicaldrains #bulbpendant #jacksonprattdrains #surgicaldrain #breastsurgery #reconstructivesurgery #nosafetypins #surgicaldrainpouches #abdominodrainage #infectiondrainage #woundmanagement #plasticsurgeon #cosmeticsurgery

If you've had weight loss surgery, you're probably more mindful about what goes into your body. But did you know alcohol affects you differently after surgery? Here’s what to consider: 🍷After bariatric surgery, alcohol is absorbed more quickly into your bloodstream. This means you’ll feel its effects faster - and with less. You may even become intoxicated with just a small amount! 🍷Your tolerance for alcohol will likely be lower post-surgery. It can also linger in your system longer, which can impact your coordination and judgment. 🍷Alcohol is high in empty calories and lacks essential nutrients, potentially hindering your weight loss goals. A single drink could set back your progress. 🍷Because your stomach capacity is reduced, you need to stay extra hydrated. Alcohol can dehydrate you faster, especially after surgery. 🍷Gaseous drinks such as beer, cider and champagne may not be tolerated in some patients as the bubbles can exacerbate reflux and cause pain. It's always best to consult with your healthcare team if you're considering drinking post-surgery. Remember, your health is a lifelong journey. #HealthyLiving #BariatricSurgery #WeightLossJourney #AlcoholAwareness #DrJasonFree #BariatricSupport #SurgeryGoldCoast

The desire to lose a significant amount of weight comes with options – and many questions. Talking with a doctor or professional in the weight loss field can help you make the best decision for yourself and your lifestyle. Because obesity is so harmful to health, having surgery to help with significant weight loss may greatly reduce your risk of premature death. And, surgical techniques for weight loss surgery have been shown to be as safe or safer than gallbladder or hip replacement surgery, and the overall likelihood of major complications is about 4%. Consult with your physician about the risks and benefits of weight loss surgery or your options for medical weight loss programs. We can't put the toothpaste back into the tube. While so much has been researched and addressed to advance the use of mesh for the repair of #PelvicOrganProlapse, posts from the bad old days remain locked into the internet. Rebooting anxiety about whether to have a mesh procedure. Rebooting some misconceptions. Rebooting unnecessary fear factor. Every surgery for any health condition comes with risk, not just mesh for POP. At times APOPS gets calls from women in last minute high anxiety about a mesh surgery they decided to move forward with. 1. Do your homework. Dig into the backdrop of your urogynecologist at the onset of your POP journey. 2. Ask your surgeon every question you have about your surgery, not just the mesh questions. The more you know, the more comfortable you'll be moving forward. 3. Recognize everyone has fear heading into surgery, especially POP surgery because so few talk about it out loud. Everyone's heard of appendectomy. Few women are familiar with pelvic organ prolapse prior to their diagnosis. 4. TRICK YOUR BRAIN! Recall the happiest memory you have and on the days prior to surgery, and especially the day of surgery, every time anxiety increases, recall that happy memory, over and over and over until it's like a habit. #APOPS #womenshealthempowerment #Belowthe Waist #TheBiggestSecretinWomensHealth

What is perineoplasty? This is a surgical procedure aimed at tightening and repairing the perineum, the area between the vagina and the anus, which can be stretched or damaged due to childbirth, aging, or trauma. It can improve both the function and appearance of the perineal area, helping with issues like discomfort, reduced sexual satisfaction, or sagging tissue. At Aviva Plastic Surgery & Aesthetics, combining perineoplasty with labiaplasty and clitoral hood reduction can enhance both aesthetic outcomes and physical comfort. This combination can help restore a more youthful, balanced appearance while also improving confidence and overall satisfaction with intimate areas. #labiaplasty #perineoplasty #labiaplastynearme #labiaplastyatlanta #womenswellness #wellness #health #collagen #avivaplasticsurgery #atlanta https://lnkd.in/eMJj44wB
