DHHS scooped 2 awards at the 2019 IT News Benchmark Awards in Sydney - in the State Government and Rising Star categories. Ray Baird accepted the State Government category award for the Client Incident Management (CIMS) project. Congratulations Kerry Sayburn, Kristian Frost and the rest of the CIMS team. More info on CIMS: https://lnkd.in/fJuYmFF This was a new system implemented in the department's Platform+Agile approach, on #MicrosoftAzure, to manage the reporting and processing of incidents affecting client safety in the human services sector. https://lnkd.in/fEKVjsK Fiona Sparks also accepted the Rising Star award jointly with Eric Jiang of Monash University. https://lnkd.in/fP_5QVm Well done Ray and Fiona and their hard working teams ... and to all of the other teams that nominated for the IT News Benchmark Awards ... and of course congratulations to the overall winner Melbourne Water. Thank you to Kym Peake and Greg Stenton for your support in making the Victorian Department of Health and Human Services a leading public services digital innovator. I accepted the CIO of the Year award in the State & Local Government category in the 2017 awards, so I am pleased, and proud, that two members of my executive team have been recognised in the 2019 awards. Go DHHS!
