ABA Therapy or (Applied Behavorial Analysis Therapy) is one of the most used methods in helping people with autism or other neurodivergent conditions. ABA is based on the science of behavior and instruction on an educational, emotional, and physical aspect. The main objective of ABA is to help teach vital skills and prevent dangerous behaviors. Registered Behavioral Technicans (or RBTs) help people with neurodivergent conditions improve skills in areas like communication, language, social-emotional skills, self-care/hygiene, play/leisure skills, and more. Due to early intervention being very important, ABA can start as early as one year old and last until the neurodivergent individual has mastered the necessary skills they need to learn based on their specific diagnosis and treatment plan.
