It's always challenging to see news of layoffs, especially from a company as innovative as Dyson. While restructuring is sometimes necessary for growth and agility, it's crucial to support affected employees through these transitions. It's a reminder for us to continually focus on creating resilient and adaptable teams. Thoughts and support go out to those impacted by these changes. #layoff #Restructuring #Workforce
When asked about the fate of its almost 2,000 staff here, Dyson said there was no direct impact from the announcement and declined to comment further. #Singapore #Dyson #jobs

I remember every detail about my first clients. I'd bet it's the same for any other founder out there! Starting a company means taking a huge leap of faith—one where you can't necessarily see a soft landing on the other side. Those first few times you hear "yes" makes you feel both elated and terrified at the same time. Finally, someone is taking a chance on you! But then you remember you need to deliver on your promises. You put your head down and get to work. One of the first times I heard "yes" was from an executive at Avon. As you can imagine, it was a huge deal that I was in her office—and an even bigger deal that she was considering working with Atrium. At that time, we were a scrappy team of four working out of a cramped office over Grand Central Station. I pitched my heart out and waited with bated breath. "You know what," she said, "I'm going to take a chance on you." My heart leaped and I jumped to my feet, thanking her and shaking her hand, barely able to control my excitement. Getting that "yes" was one of the most thrilling moments of my career to that point, but what truly made that experience memorable was building that relationship over time. I thrived under the challenge of delivering groundbreaking staffing solutions—and I'm proud to say that, at Atrium, we're still breaking new ground in this sector today. Today I'm delighted to unveil Atrium Fashion & Lifestyle. This fresh identity for our fashion and retail division better reflects our expansive reach within the industry. This update embodies our expertise in serving not only top fashion brands but all companies that help consumers lead a vibrant lifestyle. If you'd like to learn more about the revolutionary work we're doing in this sector, start here: Introducing Atrium’s Refreshed Fashion & Lifestyle Division | Atrium (atriumglobal.com) #Atrium #Fashion #Lifestyle #Brand

What do you see in this picture? A woman feeding a giraffe, right? Do you know what I see here? A woman (well, me) wearing her company merch feeding a giraffe! I alsolutely love Bolt merch — so much so that I took it on holiday. It’s durable, stylish, and comes at no cost! Well, to get this particular one I had to walk 35,000 steps, but it’s a story for another post. To design our latest merch, we collaborated with an Estonian fashion designer and upcycling activist, Reet Aus PhD, so my Bolt tote, for example, is made from 100% upcycled materials. Want one? To get it, you’ll have to come to work with us. Check out our open roles: bolt.eu/en/careers Btw, what does your brand merch look like? 👀 #bolt #hiring

🚀 Transforming Body Shops with Top Talent 🚀 I've had the privilege of witnessing some remarkable transformations in the body shop industry, all thanks to the infusion of top talent. One client, a mid-sized body shop in Manchester, saw a 30% increase in efficiency within just six months of hiring a skilled operations manager. This individual streamlined processes, reduced waste, and implemented a new quality control system that elevated the shop's reputation for excellence. Another inspiring story comes from a family-run body shop in Birmingham. They brought on a marketing specialist who revamped their online presence and customer engagement strategies. The result? A 50% boost in new customer inquiries and a significant uptick in repeat business. It's incredible how the right person in the right role can make such a profound impact. These success stories highlight the importance of investing in talent. It's not just about filling positions; it's about finding individuals who can drive innovation and growth. If you're looking to revolutionise your body shop, consider where top talent could make the biggest difference. #TalentTransformation #BodyShopSuccess #IndustryInnovation

What’s the Best Work Environment? I still think back to my days at American Apparel in Los Angeles —hands down one of the coolest offices I've ever worked in. Imagine a 6-story, two-building warehouse/production hybrid. American Apparel made a name for itself by producing and manufacturing its clothes in the USA, and being part of that was an unforgettable experience. I’d walk through the warehouse, past rolls of fabric and pallets ready to ship, and hop in a giant freight elevator to get to our 6th-floor office. Below, rows of sewing machines hummed, and fabric-cutting machines buzzed away. My desk was smack in the middle of a huge open floor plan, right next to the designers. Every day, I'd catch glimpses of their upcoming creations. The best part? We were all under one roof, with no competition between departments. Collaboration was in our DNA. We worked toward one goal: the success of the brand. For leaders who think perks make the best work environment, take a closer look. Are your departments collaborating, or competing? Does credit flow across teams? After all, no single strategy affects just one department—whether it’s before, during, or after deployment. Creating a truly cohesive environment goes beyond perks like open floor plans or on-site gyms. It’s about fostering genuine collaboration among everyone, where all teams are winners. #WorkCulture #TeamCollaboration #Leadership #BusinessSuccess #CompanyCulture #WorkplaceInnovation #EmployeeEngagement #CrossDepartmentCollaboration #WorkplaceInspiration
