🔴Hyundai Motor India set to launch Rs. 27,870 crore IPO Hyundai Motor India, the country’s second-largest car maker and the Indian unit of South Korean firm – Hyundai Motor Company will go on October 15. 💡Following are the key highlights of the Hyundai Motor IPO: 1️⃣ Hyundai Motor Company is Valued at Rs. 1.59 Lakh crore at the upper price band. The parent company will hold an 82.5% stake in the Indian unit post-issue. 2️⃣ The Hyundai Motor India IPO is entirely an Offer for sale (OFS) of 14.2 crore equity shares by the parent firm Hyundai Motor Company with no fresh issue. 3️⃣ The proceeds from the IPO will be received by the parent firm. The issue is entirely an offer for sale of 14.22 crore shares. Hyundai Motors India is a part of the Hyundai Motor Group the third largest auto original equipment manufacturer (OEM) in the world based on passenger vehicle (PV) sales in CY23. It has been the second-largest auto OEM in the Indian PVs market since FY09 (in terms of domestic sales volumes). The company has a track record of manufacturing and selling four-wheeler PV that are reliable, feature-rich, innovative, and backed by the latest technology.
