This routine takes only 45 minutes and has proven to be effective. I also engage again at 12 pm for 20 minutes. You don’t need to post daily to grow on LinkedIn. Trust me—I’ve done it, and so can you. Here’s the thing: Consistency is often misunderstood. Most people think it means: ❌ Posting every single day. ❌ Leaving dozens of comments just to be seen. ❌ Spending hours in DMs or on engagement. But here’s the truth: Consistency looks different for everyone. What it actually means: ✔ Sticking to a posting schedule that works for YOU—even if it’s just 2x a week. ✔ Engaging thoughtfully for 30 minutes a day. ✔ Leaving 10 high-quality comments instead of 50 generic ones. ✔ Building genuine connections and sharing real value. For me, posting 3x a week is my version of consistency. It aligns with my schedule and allows me to stay consistent without burning out. You Need To Let Go Of This LinkedIn Mindset 📌 Something happened few days ago on LinkedIn 📌 But first, you really need to clear the mindset of "I must have a lot of engagement on my post". ➜ The mindset will affect you in a way that ➞ You will only focus on engagement = - reason for posting. ➞ The value of your post drops by = 1% ➞ Your purpose of joining linkedin = - 100% 📌 Now to the story: NOTE: please this post is not intended to shade anyone, just for us all to learn more. ➞ I saw a notification that someone tagged me in a post ➞ I rushed to read the beautiful post ➞ Lo and behold, the post was not bad 📌 What was bad is the fact that ↳ This friend didn't tag only me. ↳ He tagged if not more than 100 names of LinkedIn users. ↳ Top creators inclusive. ↳ He then wrote 'comment on this post' under the tags. 📌 I didn't know how I could call his attention to the mistake, so. 📌 I decided to write something about that and post. 📌 For the benefit of my friends. ➞ You don't need to tag many people and tell them to comment under your post. ➞ You don't need to be sending your post link to everyone's DM. 📌 YOU SHOULD RATHER FOCUS ON: ↳ Profile optimization ↳ Authority building ↳ Look valuable ↳ Post valuable contents ↳ Engage brilliantly ↳ Solve problems, and ↳ Be consistent PS: Am I making sense? I’d spend time writing what I thought were insightful, valuable posts but all I got were a few likes and maybe one or two comments. It felt like my posts were getting lost in the crowd. It felt like no one was seeing or engaging with my content. I started thinking, What am I doing WRONG? Then I realized something important: The problem wasn’t my ideas—it was how I was presenting them. So, I tried something new. Here’s the simple change that made all the difference: 👉 I started writing with my audience in mind, not myself. Instead of just sharing my thoughts, I began focusing on their challenges, their goals, and their questions. 📌 Here’s what I did differently: #1— Hooks first 👉🏻 I crafted an opening line that grabbed attention, like a question or bold statement. — #2— Use “You” language 👉🏻 I shifted my focus from “I” to “You” so the reader felt like I was talking to them, not at them. — #3— Clarity over complexity 👉🏻 I kept my writing simple, clear, and easy to read, making my points in short paragraphs or bullet points. — #4— Conversation starters 👉🏻 I ended every post with a call to action—asking people what they thought or if they had any tips to share. It didn’t happen overnight, but in a few weeks, I noticed something. More likes. More comments. More messages in my inbox. I believe for every niche/field, there is more than one type of content you can write to express your professionalism. So instead of stressing over every word you write, → always focus on being authentic and → sharing your true insights. Remember, genuine connections are built through honest communication. By which you can always try by, experimenting with different formats and topics to see what works best for you and your audience.
