🌍🚮 Exciting Visit to Alytus Region Waste Management Centre in Lithuania! 🚮🌍 On June 13th, as part of the Study Visit STOPWASTE Project, we explored the impressive waste management facilities in Alytus, including mechanical sorting, biological treatment, green waste composting, and food waste treatment. A highlight was the TikoTiks Centre "Mainuk Centre," where items are inspected, repaired, and either exchanged or sold at minimal fees. This initiative reduces waste and supports local charities and individuals repurposing materials.
