Storabelle is proud to be recognized as one of the 25 companies shaping the future of industry in France! Patriarche, JLM Conseil, France Urbaine, and the Banque des Territoires have identified and analyzed 25 locations that represent the forefront of French industry, and we are honored to be among them. This initiative highlights a diverse range of industrial projects across the country, showcasing how today's industry is evolving in response to new public interest, innovating to address challenges, and reestablishing itself in various forms. The resurgence of the industrial sector has drawn sustained attention from the State and regional and local authorities, focusing on diverse challenges: land scarcity, innovation ecosystems, the overhaul of industrial models, and workforce development. Storabelle is honored to be part of this movement, embodying a shared commitment to economic and industrial sovereignty, particularly in strategic sectors such as Decarbonization and Energy Storage. In a time when energy issues are crucial for the productive economy and recruitment challenges are widespread, Storabelle's presence in this selection highlights our dedication to navigating these complex landscapes. As the public increasingly reconnects with the industrial sector, long overshadowed, we are proud to contribute to the reactivation of the close ties between industries and their territories. Our inclusion among these 25 industrial locations underscores our commitment to environmental transition, with ongoing efforts in decarbonization, process innovation, and sustainable development. The road ahead is challenging, but together with public and private partners, Storabelle is at the forefront of reshaping French industry, focusing on competitiveness, sovereignty, and the vast transformations necessary for the future.

📑 Directorate-General for Research and Innovation has published a new policy brief on the role of R&I policy in enabling sustainability and competitiveness. Research and Innovation (R&I) is a key driving force for EU’s green and digital transitions, but also of its competitive edge against economic and geopolitical competitors. However, these objectives present tensions that need to be resolved. The ESIR group discusses the current approaches to competitiveness and their implications for R&I policy. They argue that a systemic approach to R&I policy can enable a new economic competitiveness that can coexist with long-term environmental and societal sustainability goals. With two case studies, the experts illustrate the advantages and challenges faced by Europe in reaching competitiveness in the face of global crises. By looking at circular economy, the systematic aspect of the transition to Industry 5.0 is put in parallel with the green hydrogen case outlining the potential of sustainability to give Europe an edge in the race to sustainable, sovereign, and cheap energy.
