With Black Friday just around the corner 🤩 Many of our new customers at Storyly have gone live with Stories to maximize engagement and drive more revenue 🎆 — and that’s what inspired me to write this post 👇 𝐏𝐎𝐕: You’ve just gone LIVE with stories in your application or website—congratulations on reaching this exciting milestone! 🎉 To make the most of this launch, here are some key actions to maximize impact and engagement: 1️⃣ Spread the Word Across Digital Channels: • Announce your new feature with your community using email newsletters, blog posts, banners, and social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn. • Encourage users to explore Stories, share their feedback, and engage with this dynamic content format. 2️⃣ Create an Onboarding Flow: • Introduce Stories to users by explaining what they can expect, where to find them, how to view them, and even how to share them with their network. 3️⃣ Leverage Deep Links for Seamless Navigation: • Copy story-deep-links from the Storyly dashboard and embed them into your push notification tool to direct users straight to Stories. This can significantly boost engagement in their next session. 4️⃣ Utilize Visual Enhancements: • Highlight new content with animated unseen-border colors. • Use GIFs or videos as story-group covers, and badges and countdowns to grab user attention or trigger FOMO and urgency. 5️⃣ Focus on Video Content: • Videos are a proven driver of engagement. Whether it’s horizontal (Instagram-like) or vertical (TikTok-style) scrolling, videos can boost key metrics like session time, retention, conversion rates, and overall content consumption. • Storyly even animates static images or text, but video takes the user experience to the next level. 6️⃣ Incorporate Interactive Elements: • Use polls, quizzes, sliders, question stickers and others as much as possible. Users are familiar with these from social media, and engagement rates can exceed 70%! • Interactive elements are powerful for: • Collecting zero-party data and user feedback. • Increasing session time and daily retention. • Building new audiences based on user responses. • Starting gamified or real-time personalization initiatives. 💡 Pro Tip: Video + Interactivity = A winning formula for engagement and performance. 🚀 (Special thanks to Nurcin Turgut 💕) So, what do YOU think about the power of stories?
