Women already have an inherent tenacity that often goes unnoticed. "Empowering women isn't a choice, it's a necessity." So, how do we make a change? There are three steps to becoming a Challenger: • Disrupt societal stereotypes and reshape perceptions to recognize women's innate strength. • Stand against discrimination. Equality isn't just a slogan; it's a necessity for advancing society. • Celebrate and recognise every accomplishment, regardless of its size. Feminism urges the world to view women as the powerful, competent individuals they already are. We invite you to help us build a fair society, become a part of ELEVATE. https://lnkd.in/gkYmwcxp

Feminism isn't about women outcompeting each other—or men—in a flawed system. It's about all genders collaborating to rebuild that system fairly. Our latest 'Tables Over Fences' post explores how we can honor the diverse experiences of women while engaging men as allies in creating equitable workplaces. I don't blame women for not identifying as feminists But it breaks my heart Because society has effectively turned 'feminism' into a dirty word And that is NOT serving women The definition of feminism is this: "The advocacy of women's rights on the basis of the equality of the sexes." That statement is NOT controversial. It's not a charged argument. In fact, based on the definition alone, everyone should be a feminist! And yet, when I post about the importance of being a feminist, do you know who is typically the most offended? Women. Women in the comments telling me they don't identify as feminists and are bothered that I'm suggesting they should, Women objecting to labeling themselves with this word. Something to consider: If the word feminist bothers you, ask yourself why... And who is best served by making it a dirty word. Hint: It's not women. Many people know what feminism is, but only few know what Feminism is NOT. Feminism is NOT a fight against men (unless they try to get in the way)! Feminism is an advocacy for women to be treated with equity and fairness! Which is why everyone, including men, should be feminists! Today we celebrate women, recognizing the myriads of wins, struggles and efforts of many women globally! Happy International Women’s day! #internationalwomensday2024 ✍🏽 Progress Oberiko

My question is, Is it really necessary to set aside a specific day to honor women? Or Do you genuinely think that Women's History can be commemorated on just one date? As everyone is aware that setting specific dates for these days is to provide focused occasions for honoring, raising awareness, and reflecting on the significance of these events or individuals. Do we really need that? Assigning a specific date to celebrate women's achievements can both highlight progress and risk trivializing ongoing struggles. While it offers a focal point for activism, it's crucial to recognize women's diverse experiences and advocate for equality every day. What's your opinion on this matter? #WomenEveryDay #BeyondOneDate #ContinuousCelebration #EqualityAlways #DiverseRecognition #InclusiveAppreciation #YearRoundEmpowerment #RecognizeDaily
