You're moving too slowly! The most damaging thing you can do when you're hiring is to take your time making decisions. Good candidates have options, and will disappear if you don't snap them up. But making the wrong decision is even more costly. Here's how to balance good decision-making and speed for effective hiring decisions. #hiring #talentacquisition #planning #biotech #biotechnology

Hiring someone based only on their skillset is not a great idea – and here’s why. Skills can be taught, but Values? They’re pretty deep-rooted. If you can’t afford to lose 46% of your new hires in their first 18 months (and let’s face it, who can!) then you need to change things up. #hiring #values #talentacquisition #biotech #biotechnology

Research often feels like a marathon of unanswered questions and countless roadblocks. I remember questioning if my efforts would ever lead to something meaningful. But every setback taught me something invaluable—not just about the science but about resilience, problem-solving, and seeing the bigger picture. At Bversity, We know these hurdles well. So we believe in empowering researchers to expand their skills and grow into roles where they can drive meaningful change. Those tough moments in research don’t just teach you science; they prepare you for leadership, for seeing challenges through a strategic lens. So, to everyone in the trenches—keep going. Each step forward builds a foundation for something impactful.
Hate research but still love biotech? You're not alone! Not everyone in biotech is destined for the lab. Some thrive in management, strategy, or even production! With the right skills, you can find alternative paths that don’t involve traditional research. 👉 Comment below if you want to know more about exciting non-research biotech career options #BiotechCareers #NonResearchCareers #LifeSciences #BiotechManagement #CareerOptions Nithyashree S. || Sudharsan Varatharajan || Raghul J || Godwin Immanuel || Sai ganesh sureshkumar || Ankita Sarkar || Aakash Kaliaperumal || Harshini Ramesh Babu || Subhashree T ||

What is next? Plan ahead. I surprise people by asking question at kick-off meeting: what is next step after project? Mainly to raise the thinking. Too many times I have seen that the consortium does the project, finishes final report and then start to think about what is next. Most people are not interested in your scientific papers. Not even researchers in your topic will really read them and contact. Ask yourself: Have you been contacted by anyone about your papers? Coming to opportunities is a lot about disseminating what we do. Be active. Share updates. Do not overplan. Think ahead and then think what can we do today. Hello all, I am open to new opportunities that exist within the agriculture product development space. I come from the start up industry with 10+ years of experience and have worked on a commercial launch. I am willing to relocate for a role and open to full time, consultancy, or short term contract roles. My diverse background in agriculture includes seed treatment, foliar, and in furrow applications of biologicals. As a project manager, I have cross functional experience working with teams involved in screening, automation, software engineering, fermentation, downstream processing, application development, manufacturing, regulatory, field trialing and agronomic practices. Having worked in start-ups I am comfortable with developing innovative strategies for complex problems. I have hands-on experience with developing assays, extraction methods, molecular biology methods, and developing both liquid or dry formulations that can scale up. I am also capable of building out lab spaces that can support safe, ergonomic, and data-driven research. I have experience working with commercial ag equipment and understand the essentials of field trial design. I am capable of bridging R&D in the lab with product applications in the field. I have experience hiring and mentoring skilled researchers, and mentoring their morale and career development. I also have three growing seasons worth of experience as a project manager that led to a nationwide commercial launch. Feel free to reach out directly for my CV or review my profile to see if my experiences align with opportunities. Thank you kindly. #consultancy #agriculture #innovation #startup #productdevelopment #researchdevelopment #agbiologicals #biologicals #consulting #biotech #projectmanagement #peoplemanagement #labmanagement #seedtreatment #foliar #infurrow #formulation #application
