Wynn Resorts obtains Commercial Gaming License Wynn Resorts has been granted the UAE’s first commercial gaming operator's license by the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA), though no further details about the license were provided. The company is developing Wynn Al Marjan Island, the first integrated gaming resort in the Middle East, set to open in early 2027 on a 62-hectare island in Ras Al Khaimah. The gaming area will span 225,000 square feet, accounting for approximately 4 percent of the property's total gross floor area.
