Connecting with our animals at a soul level for more peace and joy🐶 Connecting with our animals at a soul level can bring us – and them – more peace and joy. I don’t usually start with this topic. But seems like our connection to animals has changed in the time I’ve been on the planet. From the backyard to the bed🐹 Back in the day, my husband’s grandfather used to keep his beagles in the backyard. Nowadays, I wake up with my dogs and cats in my bed! Can you relate? They’re family❣️ So, I work with people who have the same family relationship with their animals that I do - even if they’re too big to fit on the bed or don’t want to! Because we want a lovely and loving relationship with our animal companions. Improving family relationships👩❤️👩 More specifically, I work with people whose beloved animal companions have specific issues. Whether physical, or behavioral/emotional, these issues worry or frustrate their people. I believe people want to focus on those issues because improving those issues helps improve the relationship. When relationships improve, we experience more positive emotions as we interact. And this is how we nurture the soul connection between us and our animals. When we feel deep love for another sentient being, we create a soul-to-soul connection. On the other side of the coin, experiencing deep love and concern FROM another sentient being connects both our souls. Cats are often admired for their grace, independence, and ability to sleep for long periods of time. They are also known for being selective about when they want company, choosing to interact with humans and other animals on their own terms. This combination of qualities is seen as desirable, as it allows cats to have a sense of control over their environment and interactions. Overall, the statement suggests that cats have everything they need to live a content and fulfilling life. . . . . . #CatLife #FelineFreedom #Purrfection #IndependentKitties #GracefulCats #SleepyFelines #SelectiveCompanions #CatControl #ContentCats #FulfillingFelines #AdmiredCats #CatGrace #IndependentPets #SleepyKitties #SelectiveInteraction #FelineCharm #CatsRule #FelineFreedom #PurrfectLife #GracefulPets #SleepyBeauty #SelectiveCats #CatComfort #ContentKitties #FulfillingLife

💥 The Silent Caretaker of the Streets 💥 In a world bustling with people chasing their daily lives, acts of quiet compassion often go unnoticed. The below video captures a poignant moment of such compassion, where a kind-hearted elderly woman tends to two stray dogs with tender care. Clad in a traditional yellow saree, her posture speaks of humility and dedication as she crouches to feed her four-legged friends. Community dogs, often overlooked or subjected to cruelty, find solace in the hands of individuals like her. Without fanfare or expectation of reward, she ensures these animals have a meal, showing that kindness transcends species. Her actions remind us that compassion is not limited to grand gestures but lives in these small, everyday acts of humanity. The dogs, too, reflect the trust they’ve built with her. The golden one stands patiently, awaiting its turn, while the brown one focuses on savoring its food. This quiet scene of mutual trust and care is a testament to the bond humans and animals share when nurtured with love. This video is a powerful reminder of our responsibility toward the voiceless creatures around us. It teaches us that compassion does not require wealth or resources—only a heart willing to care. By extending kindness to animals, we not only help them but also enrich our own lives with purpose and connection. Let this moment inspire us to take small steps toward a more compassionate world, where every act of kindness, no matter how small, makes a difference. #Compassion #Kindness #AnimalLove #StreetDogs #Humanity #EverydayHeroes #AnimalCare #Inspiration #ActOfKindness #PetLove

Silent & a safe haven, we often find stray dogs & cats under our cars. Weirdly sometimes, you often find a cat sneaking into the engine section of your car. As a species with the highest level of intelligence, being a car owner, lLook below your car. There might be a stray animal sleeping, nestled in the warmth of the engine compartment, or seeking shelter from the elements. These vulnerable creatures often find refuge in unexpected places, especially during colder months or harsh weather. A glance underneath can reveal a hidden world of life, reminding us of the importance of compassion and awareness. Before starting your engine, take a moment to check for any furry friends who may have sought a cozy spot. A simple act of kindness can save a life and foster a deeper connection with the animals around us. Snap-E Cabs

September is National Guide Dog Month, an important time to raise awareness about and appreciation for the hard work of these dedicated service animals. Many people assume that a guide dog can navigate the community for someone who is blind. But guide dogs are primarily used to avoid obstacles and keep their human partner safe in their travels. When you encounter a working guide dog on the street or at a restaurant or business, remember that the dog is on the job. Don’t interact with them by petting or giving commands. Don’t allow young children to play with the dog, and don’t attempt to guide, steer or hold a person navigating with a guide dog. These can distract a working guide dog and put both the dog and their person in danger. While the relationship between a guide dog and their person is a working one, it is built on love, trust and discipline, and the bond between the two is invaluable to many people who are blind. I wrote a guest blog! My fantastic friends at Woofability have created an incredible resource for dogs with additional support needs. A major barrier to people adopting dogs with disabilities or long-term conditions, is fear and a lack of information and support. Woofability is changing that! Please check out the great work they’ve been doing (and read my bloggy blog) 👇🏼 Sue Davey #woofability #animalrescue #blog #disableddogs
We were recently contacted by a wonderful lady called Megan who told us about her dog Marilyn. A special dog living her best life despite not having the best start. We thought it would be super if others got to know Marilyn, so we asked Megan if she would write a blog for Woofability. We’re thrilled to be able to share Megan's blog with you - Marilyn’s story, and the story of Megan and Abby rescuing Marilyn, is one that will touch the hearts of every dog lover.
