Composition is a tool for developing choreography. Knowing HOW and WHEN to use compositional tools such as expanding and compressing time, space, and effort goes a LOOOOONG way. What are some of your go-to and least go-to compositional tools you use in your work? Curious to see what your responses are. Peace + Light @TheCreativeSpaceLLC

Navigating the labyrinth of real estate can often feel like orchestrating an intricate dance. Picture the District of Columbia as a ballroom, the title companies as oddly syncopated dance partners, and the real-estate agents whispering oh-so-seductive promises in their ears. The latest gossip? The DC has finally settled with four of these waltzing title companies after some overly cozy nights out with real-estate agents. Who knew professional relationships came with so much dramatic flair? But let's break it down. • Imagine you're throwing a grand masquerade ball. Your guests, the title companies and real-estate agents, are forbidden to share masks… yet here we are, finding them cozy in a corner, swapping masks like it’s a scene from a scandalous Regency novel. • This dance of dubious alliances raises brows hotter than a summer day in DC. After all, no one likes learning the VIP section got different rules. Yet, in this interplay of choreographed corruption, could there be a silver lining? Ponder this: What if transparency replaces secrecy in this ballroom of real estate? Could the tangle of intrigue unravel into a more elegant and honest dance, where every step stems from genuine synchrony, not whispered backroom deals? Exciting but precarious, one might add. After all, change in tradition-riddled halls can either be a graceful dive or a clumsy tumble. Perhaps the real ballet here is in watching how the performers evolve. Will these title companies and real-estate extraordinaires learn their steps in the renewed dance of compliance? Or will they tango back into the murky shadows? While we wait for Act II, there’s a haunting beauty to be found in confronting these theatrical tales of trust, secrets, and the ever-dizzying spin of accountability. One can’t help but muse—are we tilting towards a future where every deal looks less like a cloak-and-dagger drama and more like an open dance card? Let’s place our bets. https://lnkd.in/emdgfXDV #RealEstate #DCAffairs #TransparencyMatters #TitleCompanies #FutureOfPolicy

14 Years ago, on live broadcast, we were presenting our project. Equinox Project The virtue of Feeling and Touching Wisdom or Helplessness? 21st March and 23rd September are periods of time that night and day are equal to each other, another words equinox. Night and day, equality of darkness and daylight meant that visible and invisible world could equal to each other for us. In this respect, we started to study with blind and sighted dancers in December 2006. our purpose was to create a common sense with our blind friends and open a window throughout their perspective. Boundaries’ Project was the reality that prejudices and obstacles prevented us to do we want and see something. While these boundaries were eliminated in the entire of choreography was created by blind and sighted friends, it enabled our sighted eyes saw the beauty that they would be never aware of it. The first Project we studied was “boundaries” (2006) dance video Project which was based on the theme “Can you see the music?” Performance thought us the necessity of opening our eyes and ability to see the music. The trainers of the group were Choreograph Talin Büyükkurkciyan and Sibel Lynch. Film was directed by Sibel Lynch, U.Yiğit Ekiz (Léo) was image director of the film and created its fiction. We tried to reach our voice to the large masses and indicate our disabled friends’ success throughout this Project in the international atmosphere in the race Dance for Camera 07 we obtained right to come to the big screen by succeeding to become in the first 20 films among 100 dance films thus, reached our voice to you and this encouraged us to proceed on our way resolutely. With in the “Virtue of Feeling and Touching” which is our new Project, we aimed at occurring dimensions and ranges of our perception and discussing the emotion of reality which enters in to our life throughout the visual perception initially in the basis of seeing. In the world which is based on visual perception, our goal is to specify points making us blind so that we can question perspective accepted by the society, to search dispensable things for us in order to see, to improve that the life can be reformed with its different perceptional dimensions. We point out the gabs created by the capability of the eye which is one of the five sense organs occurring our objective world. So we are ready to embrace our blind friends. We are waiting for all institutions and people’s opinions, suggestions and supports. We will always take firm steps forward because we have eyes “which can see well”! we struggle to overcome differences by empathizing throughout the art. Supporting us with your sensitivity and contributions will be proof that our goal is realized on behalf of the society. https://lnkd.in/d5pYRG6k

🕺💃Managing change is like a dance. You need to know what you're going to dance, have choreography to follow, know the steps, and be ready to improvise. But most importantly, you need to trust your team as your dancing partner. To make change happen successfully, you have to know the desired outcome (the dance). 🎯 You have to have a strategy and plan like choreography. Without a strategy to reach that outcome, the dance falls flat. 🎵 Training the steps - coaching and learning key capabilities - is crucial. This ensures everyone is prepared and capable of delivering the action plan. 🎓🏋️♂️ Last but not least, trust is essential. Trust your team to execute their roles. Trust your partner like Whitewater Reinventions to bring about the change faster and with harmony. #changemanagement #reinvention #strategy

You have until midnight EDT, August 23 (this Friday) to enroll in my new CHARACTER CHOREOGRAPHY COURSE! Why choreography? It's about placing and moving your characters through space in scenes, a dance of showing and telling, balancing enough information without overburdening your prose. (Think Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers). And it's hard to do well. I've developed a three-step method for thinking through those tricky scenes: the S.P.A. method! The course takes you through each element with explanation and accompanying worksheets. And it's SELF-PACED, so even though I'm delivering content to you on a schedule, you can work through the course on whatever schedule suits you. You'll have lifetime access to the content, including any updates. And at the end, YOU GET MY WRITTEN REVIEW OF YOUR FINAL EXERCISE, included in the price of the course. For this week only, that's $299. Enrollment is limited and filling up fast. Go here to sign up: https://loom.ly/Xq-STZw

Three things to do before your guest or Executive Producers visit set: 1. Communicate Make sure they know when you invite them to come visit to let you and the team know at least a day in advance There's a lot of coordination that happens when someone is visiting set, especially an investor or executive producer or someone from tone of the companies you're working with Make sure they let you know a day before so you can schedule it into your day, account for extra people for meals, and so that they have all of the details of where and when you're filming throughout the day 2. Prepare I've had site visitors come visit a mine location in ballet flats EPs who visited but were unwilling to take a COVID test required for anyone on set And people who required us to run out and get them jackets and rain gear because they came unprepared If you're visiting set, come prepared Check the weather, dress appropriately, arrive when you say you will, and be as prepared as possible If you have questions, just ask! Production wants to make your visit amazing and is more than willing to help 3. Expectations If you have expectations of your visit - a picture with a certain actor, experiencing a specific scene, or even being in the movie... Communicate them! (Remember rule number 1?) There is also a set of expectations, known as "set etiquette" that you should know about Being as quiet as possible while filming Not exploring the location alone Not grabbing/touching things that are in use Etc So if you aren't familiar, be sure to communicate with the crew and ask questions We're happy to answer anything and help make your visit a memorable one I wrote more about this topic here: https://lnkd.in/g42FCgzc

I’m not exactly a movie buff, but I always make time for films that highlight or draw inspiration from Pacific Island culture. Moana 2 has been a topic in our household, so it naturally became the movie of the day. It’s fun, visually stunning, and the animation is top-notch. The story? Well, I’ll admit, I was hoping for a little more cultural depth, but let me explain. At first glance, the movie sticks to its Polynesian roots, drawing from legends and myths. But then, something caught my eye—this canoe with claw-like sails gliding toward the shore. When the crew stepped off, their darker skin tones and distinctive traditional Melanasian attire stood out, a stark contrast to Moana and Maui. Whether intentional or not, the filmmakers may have tried to widen the cultural lens to include Melanesians. Now, here’s the twist— while there are traditional Polynesian canoe with claw-like sails the “curve” on this one goes to an extreme almost like the Lagatoi sails. So you can probably guess where I’m headed with this. It’s the story of Edai Siabo and the legendary Hiri Trade. Both Moana 2 and the Edai Siabo legend share a lot in common: epic sea voyages, ancestral guidance, and the drive to ensure the well-being of their communities. It’s fascinating to see these parallels play out on screen, even if subtly. I won’t spoil too much, but it’s worth a watch—whether for the cultural nuances, the animation, or just a bit of family fun. If a movie of Edai Siabo was made, Moana 2 isn’t too far off! #moana2 #pacific #movies #edaisiabo

🎭✨ *Choreographing Dreams Into Reality* ✨🎭 I recently had the incredible opportunity to choreograph two talented artists—**Amruta Khanvilkar** and **Mehak Chahal**—both known for their stellar performances in the world of television. It was an unforgettable experience filled with excitement, challenges, and countless moments of creativity and fun. Behind every performance that captivates an audience is a whirlwind of effort, patience, and teamwork. From brainstorming steps that match their personalities to perfecting every movement, the journey was as rewarding as the final act. There were moments of struggle—adjusting to schedules, syncing creative visions, and ensuring the choreography brought out the best in them. But amidst all of that, there was laughter, camaraderie, and the pure joy of creating something magical together. What truly stood out was their dedication to the art. Watching them embrace each step with passion reminded me why I love what I do. Every rehearsal, every tweak to the routine, and every shared laugh added layers of depth to the performance. This experience reaffirmed the beauty of collaboration and how much can be achieved when passion meets commitment. Here's to many more such journeys filled with art, hard work, and unforgettable memories! #ChoreographyJourney #BehindTheScenes #PassionForDance #Collaborations #CreativeProcess

When working with choreographers, it's essential to understand that each uses different methods to create. Lean into the style of creating on any project and be aware of the creative person's time constraints, if any, to complete the work. This flexibility not only helps in delivering a better performance but also builds stronger professional relationships. My Complete Online Course offers more tips on adapting to various choreographic styles and enhancing your professional journey. 🌟 **Unlocking the Art of Choreography** 🌟 Being a good choreographer isn't just about creating beautiful dance moves; it's about storytelling, collaboration, and continuous growth. Here are a few key principles I live by: ✨ **Embrace Creativity**: Always seek to innovate while respecting the foundations of dance. Your unique voice is what sets you apart! 🤝 **Listen and Collaborate**: Great choreography often emerges from collaboration. Encourage your dancers to share their ideas and perspectives. 📖 **Tell a Story**: Every piece should convey a narrative or emotion. Engaging your audience on a deeper level makes your choreography memorable. 💪 **Stay Adaptable**: Be open to change—sometimes the best ideas come from the strengths and insights of your dancers. 💡 **Keep Learning**: Stay inspired by exploring other art forms and nurturing your creativity. Growth is a lifelong journey! Let’s keep pushing boundaries and inspiring each other in the world of dance! 💃✨ #Choreography #Dance #Creativity #Collaboration #Storytelling #ContinuousLearning
