What is a human experience company? When you start to lead with emotions and values rather than your product or service, it can feel scary. But if you take the journey in small steps, being intentional with how you make people feel, you can create experiences that impact people, experiences they remember, and experiences they come back to you for. All of which leads to growth and improved ROI in your business. And let's be honest, that's what all companies need. Want to know how to do it? Here's where to start:

What should I do for work? Which business should I start? How do I know what I like doing or what I’m good at? Play, experiment with different roles, ask questions, take manageable risks……be a generalist. That’s how you find what you love. When you dont mind “the hard”. Then double down. And after a while….change, reinvent yourself. You’re not a job title or a qualification. And yes, most people double down too soon. Who cares what people think of you. Why simply accept your fate to survive? #unemployablebydesign StudioNouveau

In today's fast-paced world, it's easy to get caught up in results and methods. Traditionally, many have focused on HAVING (outcomes) and DOING (procedures) but this approach is no longer enough. 🌟 Your BEING steers your DOING and HAVING. Instead of starting with the end results, adopt the reverse-thinking by starting with why you exist and who you are. Your purpose and identity form the core of your journey, shaping your outcomes and procedures. Let's design experiences that creates a profound impact on yourself, your employees, and your customers. startreverse.com #BeingIsEverything #PurposeDriven #IdentityMatters #ExperienceDesign #CustomerExperience #EmployeeExperience #ReverseThinking

I've had the honor to work with some of the biggest brands across the globe such as Amazon, Nespresso, L'Oreal to name a few, as well as many Production Houses and Creative Agencies. In the dynamic world of advertising, I've come to realize that the true essence lies in understanding people - their emotions, aspirations, and societal nuances. As I embark on the journey of graduating with a master's in advertising this May, I find my top professional strength resonating profoundly with Emotional Intelligence. Advertising isn't merely about selling products or services; it's about connecting with individuals on a deeper level. It's about deciphering the underlying emotions, needs, and desires of our audience. This understanding is what sets apart impactful campaigns from the rest. Emotional Intelligence isn't just a skill; it's a guiding principle in my approach to advertising. It's about fostering empathy, cultivating meaningful relationships, and harnessing the power of human connection. Whether it's crafting compelling narratives or designing innovative strategies, Emotional Intelligence forms the bedrock of my professional journey. As I reflect on the ethos of the Temerlin Institute - "Better Advertising. Better World" - I'm reminded that true greatness in our industry stems from more than just creative prowess. It emanates from kindness, empathy, and genuine care for our colleagues and stakeholders. In a world inundated with noise, it's the human touch that truly resonates. By embracing Emotional Intelligence, we not only create impactful campaigns but also contribute to a more compassionate and empathetic society. Here's to leveraging Emotional Intelligence as a catalyst for transformative advertising and a better world. Let's connect and explore how we can shape the future of advertising together. #EmotionalIntelligence #Advertising #BetterWorld #Empathy #HumanConnection #Graduation2024 🎓✨

I guess you can call me a romantic when it comes to process design. Yes, you read that correctly. 💓 Seems like an odd choice of words. Let me explain. I'm learning about empathy in process design as I continue to grow in my role as producer of PEX Network. People before processes is the only way I know how to live. So, empathy in process design, including the image that ChatGPT created to depict it 👇, speaks to me on another level. What is empathy in process design? ❤️ Empathy mapping is the start of this process in process design. You still with me? The idea is to put yourself - truly - in the shoes of customers, employees, and anyone else who will be touched by this process. Empathy mapping is a whole thing - and we need to talk more about this. We shall soon! Promise! ❤️ The users remain the central focus as you design processes. You'll ask yourself questions about how they will react to different points in the process and the outcomes. This will guide your development from start to finish. ❤️ Keep the employees involved. They can provide insight as a user, too. Also, if the process for creating a product or executing some part of your business requires their touch (which they all do), then you are best served when they are happy, satisfied, and motivated. ❤️ Always factor in the feelings of the customer. Ultimately, every process is aimed at getting and keeping customers. ❤️ Be ethical by considering the greater impact on society. How will this process impact the environment? What will happen to the people in the community? Etc. ❤️ Think about the sustainability. How will this process hold up in the long-term? What will it be like for users in the future? In the end, it all comes down to the relationships you make and the teams you build. The magic comes from considering each other's feelings, believing in each other, and listening to each other. My friends and I at PEX Network and HR Exchange Network going to do just that at the webinar series that we're producing and hosting coming this fall. Don't miss the chance to join the conversations. See the comments to register for free. And reach out to me anytime to talk about all this and more. #peoplebeforeprocesses #empathy #empathymapping #processdesign #pex #talentmanagement #hr #humanresources #employeeengagement #customerexperience Image created by DALL-E, an AI model by OpenAI.

Can you recall the excitement of starting your business? Or the thrill of landing that dream job? Do you remember the passion you had to make a difference? The belief that your concept was truly unique? Do you remember the vision you had for how your customers would feel? But then… life got in the way. You became buried in paperwork, meetings, and grand strategies. Suddenly, you find yourself neither making that difference nor delivering that unique concept. Your customers no longer feel special. This is where I come in. This is what I help you with. - Rediscover your purpose. - Craft a compelling narrative. - Design an experience that consistently delivers your message and evokes the right emotions. - Bring your team to the level required to build loyalty. In essence, I ensure that what looks great on paper comes to life. I help you bring that original idea, the one meant to make an impact, into reality. Here’s how I do it: 1. I design an experience concept that translates your storytelling into one that connects personally with your customers. 2. I curate LUXURY Customer Journeys (yes, they differ from traditional customer journeys). 3. I design a bespoke training program to train your team with the right mindset and skills. 4. I help you cultivate a culture with simple, daily practices that transform your business and your people. I do this for companies, but I also empower companies to do it by themselves. DM me if you would like to know more...
