TIPS for your Admitted Student Day pre-event outreach. You need to send more than just general reminders and logistics. Send a personalized text from the student’s counselor a couple of days before to students who HAVE visited campus expresssing excitement that they’re coming back, and ask a direct question like “What will you be trying to figure out about us when you come back to campus?” Send a personalized text from the student’s counselor a couple of days before to students who HAVE NOT visited campus before expressing excitement and asking a direct question like “What are you most excited to see when you get to campus?” Send a personalized email from the student’s counselor a couple of days before to PARENTS that mentions you understand the important role they play in this process, and ask a direct question like “What are one or two questions that you would like to ask me now instead of asking in front of your son/daughter?” #emchat #highered #higheredmarketing #higheredleadership #campusvisit
