Oman-based startup IO Kitchens has secured $2.8 million in seed funding, led by Tanmia Small-Cap Fund and supported by regional investors. Founded in 2021 by Hisham Hasan, IO Kitchens operates three cloud kitchens and offers delivery-only meals through over 30 F&B brands. The funding will support expansion across Oman, enhance technology, and grow its culinary offerings. Riyadh-based startup Calo Inc. has raised $25 million in Series B funding led by Nuwa Capital, alongside Khwarizmi Ventures and STV, to expand its ready-to-eat meal service globally.
