Beginning is difficult and full of unidentified factors. Yet mastery emerges with persistence. Proficiency is shaped by experience, and every setback serves as a springboard for success. Progress is fueled by perseverance and determination, which transform flaws into strengths. Although frightening, starting points mark the beginning of the path to perfection, when persistence and hard work combine to create greatness out of hardship.

Meaning making, and creatively adding some more purpose, out of complete chaos is a skill training that can start at early childhood through Expressive Arts (Art & Play-way methods) techniques.

Any thing or situation doesn't have a meaning. Meaning is what we give. Same situation can mean a problem to some and opportunity to other. And the meaning determines the emotion. Turning it around, one can choose the emotion first and then determine the meaning. Do we want to be inspired, happy, grateful or complaining...
This decision of emotion decides the "frame" of meaning to a situation and is key to emotional intelligence. One can either preframe one's mindset and thus take control of emotions and hence any situation. Or "reframe" the meaning of a situation, like this sweet girl did in the video, and see the good/opportunity in any situation.
Thank you Harish Trivedi for sharing this video.

Don't seek validation from anyone. For,
seeking validation from others can lead to several negative outcomes:
1. Dependency on External Approval: Relying on others for validation can create a dependency that undermines your self-esteem. It may lead you to constantly seek approval, which can be exhausting and unsustainable.
2. Inconsistent Feedback: People have different opinions and perspectives. What one person values, another may dismiss. This inconsistency can create confusion and self-doubt.
3. Loss of Authenticity: When you seek validation, you may alter your behavior or opinions to align with what you think others want. This can lead to losing touch with your true self and values.
4. Fear of Rejection: The need for validation can foster a fear of criticism or rejection. This fear might prevent you from taking risks or expressing yourself freely.
5. Limited Personal Growth: Relying on others for approval can hinder personal growth and self-discovery. It can prevent you from developing a strong sense of self and confidence in your abilities.
6. Emotional Rollercoaster: Your mood and self-worth may fluctuate based on the feedback you receive, leading to an emotional rollercoaster that can be detrimental to your mental health.
7. Neglecting Inner Voice: Constantly seeking validation can drown out your inner voice, making it harder to discern what you truly want or believe.
Instead, cultivating self-acceptance and self-validation can lead to greater happiness and resilience. Emphasizing your own values and beliefs allows for a more authentic and fulfilling life.
This reminds me the popular Hindi couplet: "Kutta bhuake hazar hathi chale bazar" that is often used to convey that despite barking (complaining or making noise), actions continue on their course. It suggests that not everyone pays attention to minor distractions or criticisms.
