🔄 Best practices for updating email addresses in email marketing 📧 Keeping your email list up-to-date is crucial for effective email marketing. Here are some best practices to ensure your email addresses are always current and accurate: 1. Regularly 'clean' your list: Remove inactive subscribers and invalid email addresses to maintain a healthy list. 2. Use double opt-In: Confirm new subscribers’ email addresses to reduce errors and ensure engagement. 3. Provide easy update options: Allow subscribers to easily update their email addresses through a preference center or update link in your emails. 4. Monitor bounces: Track and investigate bounced emails to identify and correct issues. Engage with Inactive Subscribers: Send re-engagement campaigns to inactive users to confirm their interest and update their information. Keep your email marketing efforts effective by maintaining a clean, accurate email list! #EmailMarketing #MarketingTips #DigitalMarketing #EmailList #SubscriberEngagement #MarketingStrategy #MarcomToolbox #Marketing #Email

Most marketing email campaigns fail. Most sales email campaigns fail worse. Try being a business owner on a lot of email marketing lists and you'll quickly learn why so many campaigns fail to engage. It becomes glaringly clear what NOT to do with your own sales and marketing campaigns. Do what works instead. It isn't rocket science and it's not data driven. Oh, darn, now the hard part... Is "working hard for your money" outdated? No, but the song & dance are sure getting old. #email #emailmarketing #successorfailure #marketing #sales #salesandmarketingalignment #growth #success!

My 3 least favourite email marketing tips 📖 1️⃣: “Sending emails to your non-openers.“ Because it’s not just annoying, it hurts your email deliverability. Coz, ISPs start to see you as spammy, which means even your engaged subscribers might not see your emails. So avoid that. 2️⃣: “Sending more emails is bad” But here’s the thing: if you actually do it right, more emails can mean more sales but the secret is to send email campaigns to people on different email segments instead of just blasting to the entire list. 3️⃣: “Double opt ins are good“ I know different people have different opinions about it but just kindly avoid that. Because fourty percent of potential customers won’t even see the confirmation email to actually confirm. That’s a lot of potential customers slipping through your fingers. So I wouldn’t do that.

1wI agree with the article. It also highlights the importance of authenticating your domain but does not encourage individuals to use warmup email services.
