Grinding machines use magnetic separators and filtering systems to reuse grinding fluid. But debris still remains in the liquid, and that sludge build-up causes scratches on the finished workpiece, resulting in poor finish quality. Fine sludge is difficult to remove even when the fluid is cleaned. An automatic induction sealer is a device that uses electromagnetic induction to create hermetic seals on containers. The machine operates automatically, typically as part of a production line, sealing containers at high speeds without manual intervention. It uses an oscillating electromagnetic field to generate heat in the aluminum foil liner of the container cap. As the capped container passes under the induction coil, the aluminum foil heats up rapidly. This melts a polymer layer, which bonds to the container lip when cooled, creating an airtight seal. 💡Do you know #HowTo clean a Hamilton Conductivity Sensor? 💡 Hamilton Conducell 2 and 4 electrode conductivity sensors rely on metallic electrodes to measure the conductivity of the liquid. Coatings, scale, and particulate build-up from the process can obscure the electrode reducing the accuracy of the measurement. This coating should be removed for best results. ➡️Visually inspect the metallic electrodes of the sensor for coating. Simple soap (Alconox) and water are effective cleaners for soft coatings and particulates. Alcohol is also a suitable cleaner if oils or fats are present. ➡️If cleaning a 2 electrode sensor such as the Conducell UPW then it may be necessary to spray water into the hollow areas at the tip of the sensor to dislodge materials. ❌Avoid abrasive scrubbing of the surface which may scratch or damage the electrodes. #Hamilton #ProcessAnalytics #Conductivity #ConductivitySensor
