Reflection vs. Rumination Had a lovely brunch with a wonderfully inspiring woman today and we could have talked all day, one topic we touched in was reflection vs rumination and I posted this video on my Instagram - sharing here as I also use it in some trainings. In our fast-paced world, taking time to think deeply about our experiences is crucial. However, not all thinking is beneficial. Let's explore the key differences between reflection and rumination: 🌟 Reflection: 👉Purposeful and constructive. Reflection involves thoughtfully considering past experiences to learn and grow. 👉Future-focused. It aims to identify lessons and plan for better outcomes in similar future situations. 👉Solution-oriented. Reflecting helps us find ways to improve, fostering personal and professional development. 🌧️ Rumination: 👉Repetitive and negative. Rumination is dwelling on the same thoughts, often leading to increased stress and anxiety. 👉Past-focused. It involves being stuck on what went wrong without considering how to move forward. 👉Problem-focused. Instead of finding solutions, rumination can lead to a cycle of negativity and helplessness. #sukhsense #pickme #reflection #rumination #selfreflection #growth #growthmindset #coaching #leadership #development #thoughts

𝗗𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘁! Over the past week, I’ve spoken with several clients who are carrying past experiences, relationships, and challenges into their present work and how they see the future. Talk about a way to stunt progress! While it’s natural to be influenced by our past, if left unchecked, those experiences—and the belief systems they created—can hold us back from creating new opportunities. An incredibly powerful practice I encourage is called 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣—a process of identifying and working through past events to properly understand them, our role in creating them, and ultimately to move beyond them. It’s about gaining new perspectives and creating the space to move forward without being held back by outdated belief systems. This might show up as relating to colleagues based on past relationship dynamics, hesitating to take risks because of a perceived failure, or viewing current projects through the lens of a past one that didn’t work out. While we can't erase the past, working to "complete" it helps us make peace with it and grow, so we can approach the future with clarity and enthusiasm. Identifying unresolved events, relationships, and associated feelings—and truly examining them—is a powerful step toward growth and freedom. #leadership #personaldevelopment #selfawareness #emotionalintelligence #coaching

#ConsciousLeadership starts from within! 𝐇𝐎𝐖 𝐀𝐌 𝐈 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐌𝐘𝐒𝐄𝐋𝐅 𝐓𝐎𝐃𝐀𝐘 ? How am I #nurturing my physical well-being, emotional resilience, mental clarity, and interpersonal connections? Am I #aligning my actions, thoughts, and emotions with the leader I strive to be? 𝐇𝐎𝐖 𝐃𝐎 𝐎𝐔 𝐖𝐈𝐒𝐇 𝐓𝐎 𝐁𝐄𝐒𝐓 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐃 𝐀 𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐌, 𝐈𝐅 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐒𝐄𝐋𝐅 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐒𝐓? True leadership is holistic - it’s not just about managing tasks and guiding others; it’s about embodying a balanced, intentional approach to all areas of life. Conscious leadership is rooted in #authenticity, #vulnerability and a desire to serve those you are leading (while serving yourself first!) When you lead yourself with intention and integrity across every dimension of your life, you naturally inspire others to do the same. Leadership begins with self-awareness and the discipline to nurture and align all aspects of your being, so that your influence is authentic and impactful. “𝘛𝘏𝘌 𝘞𝘈𝘠 𝘠𝘖𝘜 𝘓𝘌𝘈𝘋 𝘠𝘖𝘜𝘙𝘚𝘌𝘓𝘍 𝘐𝘚 𝘛𝘏𝘌 𝘞𝘈𝘠 𝘠𝘖𝘜 𝘓𝘌𝘈𝘋 𝘠𝘖𝘜𝘙 𝘛𝘌𝘈𝘔” The Human Transformation School Soon releasing our new Corporate Programs 🌹 Matteo Perfetti Giulia Sodaro Cristina Trovato

𝐃𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 "𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐲 𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞" ? 🌟 In the journey of personal and professional growth, some lessons are best taught through action. Have you seen how your children mimic your behaviors, adopting similar habits? Ever noticed how your dedication and positive attitude inspires people around you to adopt the same mindset. Your actions can shape their habits and values. Similarly, your colleagues are also likely to mirror your attitude. When we engage wholeheartedly, others observe and learn. It's a beautiful cycle where our actions speak louder than words. Recognizing the boundaries of influence and assistance is a profound aspect of both personal development and leadership. Observing someone close to you face challenges or take paths you perceive as detrimental can be deeply distressing. Whether it's a family member, friend, or colleague, the desire to intervene and steer them towards a better course is natural. However, it's essential to acknowledge that genuine transformation is self-driven. We cannot compel someone to have their moment of clarity or to embark on a journey of change until they are truly prepared to do so. This realization, while difficult, is crucial for fostering personal autonomy and growth. It encourages us to provide support and guidance without overstepping, maintaining a delicate balance between involvement and detachment. This approach not only respects the individual's journey but also allows us to focus on our growth and resilience. By understanding that each person's path to self-realization is unique, we empower ourselves and others to find strength and wisdom from within. #Leadership #PersonalDevelopment #Empathy #SelfRealization #RespectfulSupport #GrowthMindset #BoundarySetting #Empowerment #SelfDetermination #ProfessionalGrowth

"It's not just about having patience anymore - it's about having the right patience. Before, I was patient with things that were hurting me instead of helping me grow." These words from my client Hannah struck deep. When we first started working together, Hannah was successful but struggling with inner conflict. Like many leaders, she was hearing her inner guidance but not truly listening. The transformation began when she stopped dismissing that quiet voice inside. Through our work together, she: • Shifted from victim to victor • Developed a clear vision for her product business • Embraced coaching as her next evolution • Learned to trust her internal wisdom The biggest breakthrough she had was learning to pause and listen instead of pushing harder. Now she's creating an impact aligned with her true purpose. This is what happens when you trust your inner guidance system - clarity replaces confusion, purpose overshadows performance, and impact becomes inevitable. Are you listening to your inner wisdom, or just hearing it? #LeadershipDevelopment #PersonalGrowth #Transformation

When we start on any new endeavor, there’s a lot to learn. Faces, names, norms…and don’t forget the ever-present acronyms! It may be tempting, while we’re drinking from the fire hose, to sit back and observe and absorb. Certainly, these are both good to practice any time something new is on the table. However, as we are observing and absorbing, what if something doesn’t seem to fit or doesn’t connect the way we’d expect? Then it’s time to speak up. It may not feel comfortable. As we are finding our way in a new group or culture, we may be unsure how our questions or thoughts may be received. However, we’re there for a reason. It’s not to sit back, but to lean into whatever new role or responsibility we’ve undertaken. Each time we fail to speak up we may be missing out on an opportunity to further our learning or bridge the gap for a necessary mental connection. However, our true failure may be to others in the room who would benefit from our voice. — “DOING NOTHING”— Are these words loaded for you? These words come across as a judgement … I think the notion of responsibility and guilt related to ‘doing nothing’ makes it all the harder. when your actions or what seem to be lack of action, impact on others … What looks like doing nothing is actually: ...sitting with.. being patient... pacing oneself... … dreaming innovation… … and processing. And this integration is essential before we take any further action at all. ABSOLUTELY! This is cultural: It is internalised capitalism. It is toxic masculinity. This is the patriarchy — AND, unless we drop beneath this consciously, we ARE ‘failing to take responsibility’ —- — BECAUSE we are allowing ourselves to be divided and ruled, severed from our innate wisdom and giving our power away …. — We are making ourselves unsustainable. — That! Are the words “Doing Nothing” loaded for YOU, too? I’d love to know …. -- Hi, I’m Rebecca I run Daemon Career Coach — Purposeful Professional Development — If what you’ve just read resonates with you, please ring my bell or DM me. 🌟 Question: Are you leading or doing things in a vacuum? 🤔 In the past, I made plans alone, keeping all the great ideas and strategies to myself. Even though I had people who could support me, I rarely sought their advice or opinions. It was just my way of handling things. Sometimes, I didn't even have a plan; I just acted. Then, a young Captain expressed frustration, saying we'd appreciate you sharing your plans with us so we could contribute our expertise. He called it "leading in a vacuum." At first, I didn't understand, but upon reflection, I realized he was right. Swallowing my pride, I started consulting others. And you know what? My plans came together easier, and everyone took pride in our success. Remember, you don't have to go it alone. Consult others; let them help you bring your vision to life. It's your creativity; you are the innovator but let them be the implementers. 🌟 Don't forget to like, follow, and share our page because everyone needs some inspiration, motivation, and truth! #Leadership #Collaboration #Teamwork #Consultation #SuccessTips #WisdomWednesday #Empowerment #PersonalGrowth #MindsetShift #OpenMindedness #SelfReflection #EffectiveLeadership #SupportNetwork #Community #Innovation #LeadershipDevelopment #CreativeThinking #Mentorship #WomenLeaders #ChristianLeadership #Coaching #PositiveChange #Achievement #GoalSetting #TogetherWeCan #TeamEffort #SharingIsCaring #AskForHelp #EmbraceFeedback #ListenAndLearn 🚀
