5 Key Learnings from a recent Transition from HR Project Management to CSR Project Management 1. Start with the Basics It takes time to figure out where to begin. There will be moments when it feels like everything has been forgotten, but a quick review of the basics – which we often overlook – helps us get back on track. 2. Leverage Past Experience Previous plans, reports, and data can be lifesavers. They help reconnect with the work and genre, providing valuable insights and guiding the way forward. 3. Ease into New Approaches When restarting or shifting gears, it's best to resist the urge to immediately try new tools or methodologies. Settle in first, stay calm, and then gradually introduce new tools/methodologies. 4. Master Time Management Shifting focus is essential. It's easy to get lost in scattered ideas and reports. Prioritize tasks, focus on one thing at a time, and avoid multitasking in the early stages. 5. Engage with the Team Regular meetings, idea sharing, and asking the team to brainstorm solutions can not only help in team bonding but also in gaining fresh perspectives on projects. #Leadership #ProjectManagement #CSR #HR #CareerGrowth #Teamwork

This took me years to understand: My teams time management skills are only as good as my own as their #projectmanager . Why? Because as a #technicalproject manager, it’s my responsibility to help my team remain focused and productive while still loving their job. This is easier said than done… 😂 ☑ According to a recent study, 58% of American workers find themselves so engrossed in daily tasks that they barely have time to think beyond their immediate to-do-lists. ☑ The same study shows that employees are productive for only 2.53 hours per day. Wow!! Let that soak in. Productivity is down while distractions are way up, which means we need a roadmap that leads to being more productive. Here is what I do: 🔵 Focus on priorities, not emergencies. 💛 Get organized. 💚 Delegate - don’t detour. Which method from the Productivity sheet have you tried OR will try? #professionaldevelopment #projectmanagement #productivity #projectmanagementprofessional

#GenZinPM 📌 One of the first topics we discussed in PMMP is handling stress as a Project Manager, Let's break it down a little🤔 Now let's be honest - Managing project is like living in a stress village, But you always need to learn not to pass it on to the team, So here's some tips and tricks to keep it cool :😎 - Stay organized: Tools, Excel sheets, project trackers—you name it. Staying organized is a total game-changer. Having everything in one place (and visible) helps avoid last-minute panic. And there's nothing better than checking everything while having your tea (Or coffee if you're more like me 😂🧡) - Open Communication: Keep a pulse on your team and stakeholders. Quick check-ins help identify problems before they snowball into bigger issues. And remember, it’s better to flag things early than be hit with surprises later. ✔ - Clarify Priorities: One of the biggest stress triggers for PMs is that endless to-do list. The trick? Figure out what really needs to be done now and what can chill for a bit. Prioritizing lets you focus on the important stuff and keeps the anxiety in check. 🔥 - Protect your team from burning out: Saying NO can feel difficult at first - As it's tempting to say yes to everything. But learning to say no is key to staying sane and keeping the team from burning out. 🚫 What can you add for e less-stressful project? 📍 #ProjectManagement #StressManagement #PMLife #StayOrganized #TeamWellbeing #Leadership #WorkLifeBalance #GenZinPM #PMTips #ProjectManagementHacks
