A year ago, I gave interviews at ServiceNow for Software Engineering, and here is a sneak peek of what you can expect if you appear for it. - Coming to Hyderabad for the first time I was amazed at the infrastructure of the new side of the city. - ServiceNow located in Knowledge City IT park is a mind-blowing place. The first thought that came to my mind was boy this is one amazing place to work at. - The interior of the office is as amazing as it can get. While waiting for the interview we all enjoyed free snacks and drinks (which is one of the contributing factors to why I like to go to the office to date😋) - The first round was a pen and paper round where we had to write the code for doing some operation on an n-ary tree. - Then followed an actual coding round where I was asked two questions. The first was on DP and the second was on string manipulation. Both were in the easy-medium category. - The final round was a DB design round. I didn’t know this was going to be the case. I was asked to create a schema for an app like Book My Show, which I did pretty well. But then I was asked to write a query on that, and I told honestly that I hadn’t written an SQL query in the last 1-2 years. So I just explained to the interviewer the way I was thinking of writing the query without actual syntax. After all these things I knew I did good with DSA but also was aware that not being able to showcase the DB query syntax was a miss. But within a couple of days, I heard back from ServiceNow and then onwards the Journey has been Amazing. #servicenow #interview #experience #lifeatnow
