WHAT was beyond the Indian team’s control? Nature. WHAT did they decide to do the moment they knew play could resume? WIN the match and the series. Though the poem was about Indians in British India but the poem is one of the greatest management lessons . I can also relate all this with my career where every job after June 98 I added value to ... sustainable value beyond my tenure but I remember my tenure from 2002 to 2012 in #Balsara ( taken over by #Dabur) and #VST where my management showed trust , gave me independence ( within corporate governance and financial norms) to set up business for growth . I enjoyed it and the team enjoyed it . I am looking forward to such an environment where I can now make a difference to an entire company rather than a region or 2 regions .
