🤔 Are those the Pride Rocks from The Lion King? 🐾 My dear guest asked me a question when I drove into the central hashtag #serengeti . 🐾 Yes, based on the Lion King film, and they are technically known as Kopjes. 📌 What are they called? again, he asked I knew that was the following question, and I told him to say "kopees." 🔸 Kopjes are a distinctive feature of the Serengeti landscape and are often referred to as "islands in a sea of grass." 🔸 Granite kopjes, or "rock outcrops," can be found throughout the Serengeti plains. It occasionally features lions, leopards, and cheetahs. 🐾 Kopjes provide habitat for birds and mammals, such as barn owls and large cats. Additionally, big cats use it as a vantage point. 🙌🏻 We were lucky enough to see several lions on the Kopjes, which are unique to the Serengeti plains.
