Are you ready to transform your home into a modern sanctuary? At Ongrid, we specialize in turning cookie-cutter spaces into personalized havens. Let’s take a glimpse into our recent project with the Patwari family in Mumbai. They sought to renovate their compact 3BHK apartment, and we were thrilled to guide them through the journey. Facing the challenges of a boxy layout, restricted natural light, and limited functionality, we worked closely with the Patwaris to envision an open-concept style that maximized both space and light. By removing unnecessary walls, we connected living areas and created multifunctional zones that adapt to their lifestyle. Our approach included: - **Open, Airy Layouts**: Enhancing airflow and light with a cohesive design. - **Multifunctional Zones**: Crafting flexible spaces that meet evolving needs. - **Personalized Solutions**: Designing custom features aligned with the family’s tastes. - **Smarter Lighting Design**: Strategically placing lights to optimize energy use. Through thorough consultations and expert guidance, we established a cohesive strategy that transformed the living environment while maintaining practical functionality. If you're looking to unlock the full potential of your space, reach out to us today. Let's realize your vision together. As an interior designer, witnessing the rise of new apartments in Bangalore excites me, signaling a plethora of opportunities for innovation and creativity in my field. Each new building represents a blank canvas waiting to be transformed into a functional and aesthetically pleasing space. However, as a Bangalorean, this rapid urbanization brings a mix of emotions. The city's already strained water resources and other infrastructural challenges pose serious concerns. The balance between growth and sustainability seems increasingly precarious. Should we halt the construction of new apartments to preserve our resources, or is there a more sustainable approach to urban development that can accommodate growth while addressing these critical issues? What innovative solutions can we adopt to ensure that our city's expansion is both prosperous and sustainable? #bangalore #interiordesign #apartments #solution #sustainable #bengaluru

A visual of the interior courtyard of Chamiers 59, showing the Terracotta Jali blocks from up close. Design by The Architecture Story. Visual by WyrdTree. The building is a condensed hybrid including a public gallery open to the public at the ground level. Other floors include capsule retail shops, co-working spaces, yoga & meditation studios, naturopathy & crystals shops etc. The top floor includes a pop-up venue with an events viewing deck. "Positioned at the intersection of commercial and residential areas in R. A. Puram, Chennai, the project Chamiers 59 embraces the dichotomy of its context. As the neighborhood transitions from its low-rise roots to a denser, vertical future, catalyzed by new planning regulations, the design serves as a response to this transformative period. The project aims to capture the dichotomy of the context and the building that brings together the dynamism of a mixed-use building with the openness and communal spirit of a traditional courtyard." The demand for 120x180 cm tiles is spreading rapidly across India due to multiple factors. Large-format tiles offer fewer grout lines, creating a sleek, spacious appearance, which is highly sought after in modern home and commercial design. According to recent industry reports, the market for large-format tiles in India is growing at a rate of 12-15% annually. The shift towards urbanization and premium housing is one key factor, with India's urban population projected to reach 600 million by 2031, driving the need for innovative interior solutions. Additionally, consumers are increasingly willing to invest in high-quality materials, as seen in the rise of luxury home spending, which has surged by 20% over the past five years. Builders and architects prefer these large tiles for their ease of installation and ability to reduce labor costs by 15-20%. Moreover, with the advent of digital printing technology, manufacturers can produce visually stunning finishes like marble and stone at a fraction of the cost, which has lowered the price per square foot for these large tiles by up to 25% compared to imported counterparts. As a result, the 120x180 cm tiles are becoming the go-to choice for high-end residential projects and commercial spaces across India. #TileTrends #LargeFormatTiles #CeramicIndustry #InteriorDesign #ConstructionInnovation #RealEstateGrowth #rollence #tiles #Porcelain
