I absolutely love this crossroads between technology and organizing! I will definitely be following up on the studies using VR to help hoarders. One of the main purposes is to remove the person from all the sensations associated with their belongings such as familiar and comforting smells. Removing any emotional triggers can allow people to see their belongings in a more objective manner. What a great use of technology! #professionalorganizing #technology #virtualreality https://lnkd.in/efVsvJYX

#Gaming #Bullying #LifeLessons In today’s digital world, kids may no longer build forts in the streets, but they’re building them in virtual spaces like the video game Rust. The clip below highlights a critical aspect of how live content is consumed among younger generations—and it raises questions about how social interactions in virtual spaces mirror or diverge from those in real life. While we all dislike bullies, it’s worth reflecting on how we may have been someone else’s bully at some point. Thankfully, in many cases, a teacher, friend, or another moderator helped us learn, apologize, and grow. But who plays that role in virtual worlds? Rust offers an interesting lens on this. It’s a multiplayer-only game where players are thrown into a harsh, open-world environment with one goal: survival. While wolves and bears are threats, the greatest danger often comes from other players. Imagine investing hours building your base, only to lose everything to a raid. This 24/7 gameplay creates a unique social dynamic that can reflect the best—and worst—of human behavior. As we navigate this evolving virtual reality, how do we moderate these spaces? How do we teach empathy and accountability where traditional authority figures don’t exist? #noVRVR #MentalHealthAwareness #EmpathyMatters #BehavioralHealth #chatgpt edit
