(1) "What's the impact on the business?" You say that's an issue, but what's the ripple effect? (2) "If you had to guess..." Everyone has an hunch. Everyone loves being asked about their hunch. (3) "What have you done?" Reminds them why they're even on the call. What they've been doing, hasn't worked. (4) "Before we get into price..." Take price off the table, it's too early. Talk about cost of inaction & value potential (5) "$8 million dollar gap..." There's the cost of inaction... (6) "If you had to stack rank..." This shows leadership.
