Dreams. Goals. Visions. Aspirations. Targets. Legacies. Achievements. Almost all of us have these in our heads. For too many people that's where they stay. So, what does cauliflower have to do with this? Maybe you have heard the saying, "If cauliflower can become pizza, you can become anything". Just a little different perspective this Monday morning to get you thinking. Thinking about your dreams, goals, visions, targets, etc. And hopefully get them out of your head and moved into action. #goals #targets #legacy #achievements #dreams #visions

Celebrating the Close of Seed Gathering Season: Nurturing Our Future As Seed Gathering Season https://lnkd.in/eBzbkyVj comes to a close today, I want to reflect on the wonderful activities and community engagement that have taken place over the past month. 🌳✨ This vibrant celebration, organised by The Tree Council, has encouraged people of all ages to gather seeds from local trees, shrubs, and wildflowers, fostering a deeper connection with nature and promoting environmental stewardship. 🌿Throughout this season, many communities have come together for seed swaps, workshops, and guided walks. These events not only provide valuable knowledge about plant identification and seed collection, but also help preserve native plant species, ensuring our ecosystems remain healthy and diverse. 🌱🤝As we wrap up this year’s Seed Gathering Season, let’s remember that the seeds we collect today will grow into the trees of tomorrow. 🌍 By nurturing these young saplings, we can contribute to combating climate change and enhancing biodiversity in our local environments. If you're interested in incorporating sustainable practices into your land management strategy or want to learn more about the benefits of native planting, book your free consultation with me today https://lnkd.in/e4GBq8vd Together, we can work towards a greener future. #SeedGatheringSeason #LandManagement #Sustainability #Biodiversity

Is the grass really greener on the other side, or are we just selectively blind? Too often, we admire the results others achieve without knowing the struggles they endured to get there. We might think we've drawn the short straw, but here's the truth: no one has it completely easy. Even those we admire have their own challenges. Their grass is greener because they put in the effort—they tilled their land and watered it consistently. Instead of falling into despair or comparison, why not take a different approach? Start tending to your own land. You never know what beautiful garden you might cultivate. ----------------------- It's a new week. Another chance to smash your goals. What have you lined up for the week? #SelfGrowth #HardWorkPaysOff #FocusOnYourself #PersonalDevelopment #StayMotivated #GrowthMindset #SuccessJourney #OvercomeChallenges #PositiveThinking #MindsetMatters #Resilience #CultivateSuccess

THE LAND IS GREEN, WHERE IT IS WATERED. We sometimes envy people's progress, their seemingly smooth lifestyle, and success, and wish we were enjoying the goodness in their lives. As a matter of fact, we can enjoy those things too, but we must do the work that is needed to achieve and live that kind of livestyle. The grass can be green anywhere only if the ground is watered. Growth, success, and prosperity are directly linked to the amount of effort and resources we invest in a particular endeavor, just as plants and crops require water to thrive. When we take time to put in sincere effort into personal growth and development, and devote energy into self-improvement, we can nourish our inner selves and create a fulfilling life for ourselves. It is not enough to react to what we see on the surface, we must look inwards and deeper into the elements that have created the effect that we see others exhibit in the way they live, and be ready to activate the same principles in our lives so as to achieve the same results. Sometimes, we put in a lot of efforts into an endeavour expecting instant yields, and results, but we have to allow the process of time to take its effect. It takes more time to repair something that has been damaged, as against something that has to be built freshly. Everything works on the principles of time and season, and understanding this principle will help us a great deal in achieving our dreams, desires, and objectives. Irrespective of what our goals and visions are in life, no matter what we want to achieve, if we will diligently do what is required of us, if we will take the bull by the horn, and begin at once to pursue our dreams, we will be closer to it than staying stuck and stagnant. Positive outcomes can only be achieved through diligent work and focused investment. Success is not guaranteed anywhere, but by putting in the necessary effort, we increase our chances of achieving our desired outcomes. I believe one of the key life skills we have to reclaim is #growingfood. Can you recognize the common plants in the pictures? If not, it's never too late to learn 😊. It may seem trivial because we’ve focused so much on economic, business and personal growth that we have forgotten that they are all sustained by our ability as a species to regularly and securely harvest food provided by our ecosystems, one of the many #ecosystemservices. Growing some food - even on your windowsill, balcony or small garden - is a great way to reconnect yourself and your family with nature and our #foodsystem. It’s also a lesson of humility as you have to patiently work with the elements (soil, air, fire/sun and water), fight with other small but mighty species of your ecosystem (in my case snails 🐌 ) and learn through trial and error. For me, the meditative process of growing stuff, working in the garden, and seeing plants thrive is an endless source of creativity and fulfillment. What about you?
