Women’s Football: A Powerful Symbol of Progress As a feminist, attending an international women’s football match at Wembley Stadium was an incredibly empowering experience. Sharing the moment with a group of highly successful entrepreneurial women was truly inspiring. Watching the players on the pitch, moving in harmony and anticipating each other’s movements, was a beautiful display of teamwork. It mirrored the collaborative spirit among the women in the room with me, who are united in their mission to elevate the independent convenience retail sector. Rather than competing with each other, we inspire and support one another, illuminating the path for future generations of women in business. The women on the pitch today symbolize the incredible progress women have made since the Suffragette era. Teamwork remains essential to our continued advancement. As the youngest of eight sisters, I felt immense pride to be surrounded by such inspiring businesswomen at an event dedicated to supporting women's empowerment.
