Participating in the "Annual Meeting of the New Champions" by the World Economic Forum, held from 25-27 June in Dalian, has really been both enlightening and inspiring. Over the past two days, key sessions such as "AI Breaking New Ground: What's Next for Industry?", "Facing Up to Extreme Weather," and "Opportunity of Managing Energy Demand" have provided great insights into the future of technology / law. Kudos to speakers Warren Fernandez, Vincent Henry Iswaratioso, Van Dinh Hong Vu, Sam Ramadori, Jeremy Jurgens, Jay Lee, Adam Tooze and many others! AI is not merely transforming industries; it is redefining them. The advancements in AI technology are enabling industries to achieve unprecedented levels of efficiency and innovation. Predictive maintenance, smart decision-making, and enhanced operational efficiency are just a few areas where AI is making a significant impact. These technological strides are setting new benchmarks and creating a paradigm shift in how industries operate and evolve. The pace of change is breathtaking! The conversation around AI also highlighted the critical importance of establishing robust legislations. Transparency and accountability are huge issues. Ethical use of AI must be ensured as these technologies continue to advance. Global cooperation is necessary to create standards. Another major focus has been on AI-driven sustainable energy solutions. AI's role in optimising energy consumption and integrating renewable energy sources is pivotal. Advanced AI algorithms are enabling real-time energy management and predictive analytics which display huge potential for achieving carbon neutrality and enhancing energy resilience. Looking forward to exploring more about these critical issues in the upcoming sessions, such as "Top 10 Emerging Technologies of 2024" and "Where Is Globalisation Headed?". #Facts resolved in the 50th Editions, G7 Summits in Apulia, Italy on 13 June 2024. #The G7 Leaders resolved to take a bold step to meet the current world challenges: #They have agreed among many, but to work with partners around the world to support development countries, investing in their future. By working with partners in developing countries and emerging markets to increase their participation in global supply chains while promoting high standards. #This is the best move and a good step to take as far as civilisation is concerned. #The world will be at peace if each country is given a fair shot and conducive environment to grow. #Whensustainabledevelopment and #peoplecentered mechanism are #observed the world will have enough for all our needs.

Rewarding Failure? 🤯 In leadership, how we handle failures within our teams shapes the success we achieve together. For the RSAF, fostering a vibrant innovation culture alongside a strong safety culture requires a nuanced perspective on failure: 1. Failure is Unpleasant, but Essential Failure sucks. We strive to minimize failures, but we must also recognize them as integral to our innovation journey. In fact, if we're not having enough failures, we need to question the ambition of our innovations. 2. Plan to Succeed; Plan for Failure anyway No one plans to fail, but we do plan to prevent failures and train rigorously to manage them. Equally important is planning to maximize learning from failures, especially in our pursuit of innovation. 3. Reward Character, Not Failure We don't sugarcoat failures. Instead, we honour the resilience, grit, and courage of those who dare to innovate and fail. Since the 2019, we've awarded initiatives that failed. We wanted to show our airmen and airwomen that it's okay to fail when innovating. It's encouraging to see HTX share this mindset.
