We are delighted to announce that Competence Centre for Workplace Equity is a Presenting Partner at The Northern Ireland Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) in the Workplace Conference 2024. The Competence Centre for Workplace Equity founded by Ashanti Bentil-Dhue who will be speaking at the conference is a global powerhouse in competency-based intelligence and advisory services dedicated to transforming workplace Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. The DEI industry is set to be worth $25 billion by 2030, but it’s been built on a weak foundation. Organisations grapple with an increasingly fast changing landscape without seeing any tangible progress. The most common issues we saw arising? Lack of clarity, competency, and compliance within workplace DEI functions. The current approach lacks any kind of standard, making it difficult for organisations to identify what "good" looks like, and perpetuating a trust gap in HR and DEI teams. CCWE's approach is a seismic shift from the current DEI landscape. It's practical, tactical, and operational – meaning organisations will see genuine results from implementing our approach. Politically and ideologically neutral, CCWE stands alone in offering a new perspective on workplace DEI. Our work is peer-reviewed, evidence-based, and sets the standard for the industry Find more information here: https://hubs.ly/Q02yMBk_0 #igppEDI #diversityatwork #inclusiveworkplace #equalityatwork

Every year the Diversity Council Australia Ltd (DCA) releases a list 📃of Inclusive Employers following analysis of an Inclusive Employer Index survey 📊 This survey measures employee diversity and inclusion experiences in the workplace and allows organisations to evaluate the current state of inclusion in their workforce 🫂 To make the list, employers must exceed 📈 the National Index Benchmark in at least five out of the six categories: awareness, engagement, inclusive organisational climate, inclusive leadership, inclusive team, and exclusion. Great work 👏🏻👏🏻 from these organisations who are actively committed to diverse, inclusive and equitable workplaces for a better Australia 🫶🏻 Image: Diversity Council of Australia website (link is in the comments below) #diversityandinclusion #inclusiveemployers #careerdevelopment

I'm delighted to share an important new piece of research led by Trevor Phillips and members of the CMI's Everyone Economy Advisory Committee, which evidences yet again the enduring 'say-do' gap. So, how do we enhance diversity in UK organisations? By training managers! Trained managers are pivotal in fostering inclusive workplaces and their organisations report better results, and much more satisfied employees - benefiting individuals, employers, and the wider economy. Chartered Management Institute's report shows that there's more to be done to create a truly inclusive workplace culture 🌟 You don't have to solve this problem alone. Our Employer Index is open to everyone, wherever you are on your social mobility journey 🚀 You can start by attending our webinar to hear why you should join the movement to make workplaces more representative, innovative, and successful 👇 https://lnkd.in/d5PiWxrv "Employees from lower socio-economic backgrounds were...significantly less likely to agree that workplace inclusivity is high on the agenda for their organisation’s Board of Directors / Trustees or other governance bodies...compared to those from intermediate or high socioeconomic backgrounds." 📉
