"Staying Hydrated in Business" Ensuring Readiness and Growth Through Meaningful Connections at Conferences Recently, a group of professionals representing the conference and exhibition business met and discussed their experiences. The conversation centered around the importance of maintaining a state of readiness and adaptability, ensuring that all resources and energies are optimally utilized to foster growth and success. In the context of our conferences that connect buyers and sellers, this means being prepared, alert, and dynamic, ready to seize opportunities as they arise. During our meeting, we represented a canvas to draw a picture that symbolized our vision. This representation brought our ideas to life, illustrating how we act as a catalyst in the business environment. We provide the necessary tools and platforms to ensure businesses can thrive, creating an atmosphere conducive to generating leads, facilitating market communities, and encouraging ecosystems to work together harmoniously. This readiness and adaptability are akin to staying hydrated, ensuring that all participants can engage effectively and make the most of the opportunities presented. By fostering this state of preparedness and dynamic interaction, we help businesses connect, collaborate, and create meaningful relationships that drive growth and success in the market.

I believe ( and my view is personal ), that it will take more than adaptability and readiness. Adaptability comes from being an explorer. To deliberately go out of your ‘comfort zone’. To avoid being blinded by one show or event and apply best business cases from outside the business . Sadly, this is an area of concern when it comes to the tradefair industry. It will take strong and innovation minded leadership to truly make the team thrive and the sector to flourish
