🚨 Are you a sports organisation or a sporting event host/organiser looking to align with international human rights standards as you improve your strategy, conduct due diligence, address challenges, or develop your activities? If so, you should be engaging stakeholders in the process. 🚀Introducing the people behind Gamebadges 👋 Daniel Cattier works as Project Coordinator at the Luca School of Arts. He works with creating the competence map and badges and implementing the badge ecosystem to the educational institutions. “The Gamebadges project could potentially be positive for the game ecosystem by creating a standard framework for recognizing and measuring competencies in the industry, which is currently lacking. By setting clear expectations for game-related professions, the project could help nurture a more skilled and competitive workforce, which could in turn boost employment and job creation. Moreover, the innovation fostered in the game industry through this project could also be applied to other sectors, enhancing Europe’s overall industrial competitiveness. Lastly, it could help leverage gaming as a tool for education, allowing the younger generation to actively engage with Europe's diverse cultures through interactive learning experiences, further enriching the ecosystem,” Daniel highlights. LUCA School of Arts contributes expertise in arts education and game design, along with academic research competence. Hosting the only Master of Arts program in Game Design in Flemish Belgium, LUCA maintains strong ties with the Flemish Game Industry and runs the Meaningful Play research cluster, integrating research and educational concerns.
