Accelerator to Accelerating 🏎️💨 Building a startup feels a lot like racing—full of sharp turns, unexpected bumps, and the thrill of the unknown. Our journey began in an accelerator, but the real challenges hit when we got on the track ourselves. There were late nights, tough decisions, and moments when the path forward felt unclear. But what kept us moving was the team—knowing we could rely on each other, even when the road got rough. Much like in racing, you learn when to slow down, when to push harder, and when to lean on those beside you. We’ve faced setbacks, but each one has made us stronger and more determined. In the end, it’s the people beside you that make the difference. Through every twist and turn, having a team that supports, challenges, and pushes each other forward makes even the toughest stretches possible. To stay connected through the journey, we’ve committed to a team-building activity each month - because It’s not just about crossing the finish line—it’s about who you cross it with. 🏁 Sereen Teoh Adryz Arriffin Edwin Fong #Startups #Entrepreneurship #Teamwork #FoundersJourney

Working on a startup is like juggling flaming swords while riding a unicycle on a tightrope. I’m deep in the startup grind - It’s a wild ride. Building something from the ground up feels like solving a Rubik's Cube blindfolded — every day brings a new twist you didn’t see coming. Sleepless nights, endless pivots, and that constant buzz of uncertainty is all part of the package. But here’s the thing: every challenge is a lesson, and every stumble is just another step forward. It’s tough, but the satisfaction of making progress—no matter how small—is what keeps you going. So, to all the fellow dreamers out there: keep pushing. The climb is steep, but the view from the top? I sure hope it's worth it. #Startups #Entrepreneurship #Grit #Persistence

Food for Thought: The Great Pivot Debate 🤔🛋️ As I look at the landscape of startups, including some reflections on Fr8Labs (we're doing okay for now, thankfully!), the idea of pivoting often comes up. It's like that moment in Friends when Ross is desperately trying to pivot the couch up a narrow staircase. Pivoting is a tough decision—it's about finding balance. On one hand, there’s resilience and the drive to push forward; on the other, the agility to adapt and change direction when needed. But let’s be real, sometimes the staircase just isn't built for pivoting, especially when you have a foundation of customers and a growing pipeline. Is pivoting always an option? Or are there times when it's just not possible to shout "Pivot!" and expect things to turn around? Curious to hear your thoughts and experiences with this pivot dilemma! #startups #resilience #adaptability #pivot #entrepreneurship #startuplife #Friends Week 14 of 26 Weekly Posts Challenge (https://lnkd.in/gXTFNTHT).

Bend, don't break - that's a founder's secret weapon. In the early stages of a startup, the vision is clear but the path is often not. It's a journey filled with unexpected turns and obstacles that demand a level of flexibility many find challenging. Yet, those who embrace adaptability as a core principle often find themselves at the forefront of innovation. The true measure of a founder isn't in avoiding change, but in skillfully navigating through it. Knowing when to be steadfast and when to adapt is the difference between a temporary venture and a sustainable enterprise Are you prepared to bend in the face of challenge, to ensure you don't break? #Startup #Entrepreneruship

Ever wondered how an idea can transform into a multi-million dollar venture? Just look at Basepaw, the DNA testing startup for cats, founded by Anna Skaya. With a $125,000 investment from Shark Tank's Kevin O’Leary, Basepaw quickly skyrocketed to a staggering sale price of over $50 million. 🌟 Anna’s journey is a testament to resilience and strategic thinking in the startup ecosystem. She faced typical entrepreneurial challenges, such as securing funding and perfecting her pitch. One memorable moment was racing against time before her Shark Tank appearance, embodying the highs and lows of startup life. Here are key takeaways from Anna’s experience that anyone in the startup world can benefit from: 1. **Network Relentlessly**: Connect with fellow founders and industry experts. Workshops and conferences can unveil opportunities and insights that experience alone may miss. 2. **Seek Advisors**: Surround yourself with advisors who bring diverse knowledge. Their experience can help navigate unexpected challenges. 3. **Prioritize Sales**: Ultimately, no product succeeds without strong sales. Make pitch practice a routine; it’s the lifeblood of your venture. 4. **Dedicate Yourself for the Long Haul**: Building a successful business often takes years of hard work and patience. Be prepared for the long game. 5. **Embrace the Rollercoaster**: Entrepreneurship is exhilarating but fraught with challenges. Expect the unexpected and grow from each experience. What challenges have you faced on your startup journey? How did you overcome them? Share your thoughts—let’s learn together! 🚀 #Startups #Entrepreneurship #Networking #Sales #BusinessGrowth #SharkTank

💡 Why in most startups, even if it’s 50/50, things are never really equal? Building a startup is never a straightforward journey. Even when partners agree to split things 50/50, the workload, stress, and contributions often feel far from balanced. 🤯 Whether it's time, resources, decision-making, or responsibilities, one side always seems to carry more weight. So, why do you think that happens? 🔍 Let’s hear your thoughts!👇 ----- #StartupLife #Entrepreneurship #StartupChallenges #IGrowYounger
