It was great to be back out on site recently and away from my desk, although I'm not sure if Dan Martin enjoy me watching over his shoulder. Here is a small sample of an OHL corridor surveyed using the impressive RESEPI XT-32, paired with a DJI M300, Trimble Inc. r12 base and UGCS Ltd mission planning software. Stone Surveying have spent years developing and perfecting surveying techniques (whether that be from the air or the ground), classification and feature extraction workflows for OHL routes, to ensure that design engineers can seamlessly import the data they need into PLS-CADD without any hassle. Check out the NUBIGON Inc. video below, its not the final point cloud that was delivered, as the thinned version and the full ground extraction is a bit "sparse" to make a flythrough.
