Yesterday The Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) published their annual review of clinical trials in the UK. We were delighted to see that the UK has made progress, moving up the global rankings for phase II and III trials, with total number of industry clinical trials initiated in the UK also increasing. The report also highlighted that more work needs to be done to speed up study set up. Our Chief Executive, Matthew Westmore (he/him), gave his reaction to the report in a short blog on our website.
