A Team in the workspace, is like a Family in the private space Whilst each family member brings something different to the table, each team member does the same Not everyone has to agree; Not everyone has to be your friend...But, each "contribution" can be of benefit to the bigger picture Respect those differences; Be open to listen to the reasons for those differences... Each "contribution" may very well add value #mutualrespect #addvalue #differentisinteresting

The message of the day is: TRULY begin to VALUE your team. This goes beyond simply acknowledging their work or offering occasional praise. It’s about consistently recognizing their contributions, fostering their growth, and creating a culture where every individual feels seen, heard, and appreciated. To truly value your team means to invest in their development, provide the tools they need to succeed, and celebrate their unique strengths. It’s about listening actively, addressing concerns, and ensuring they feel supported both professionally and personally. When a team feels genuinely valued, their loyalty, motivation, and performance elevate, benefiting everyone involved. Today, take a moment to reflect on how you can show your team that they are truly an indispensable part of your organization’s success.

These stats are eye-opening, but I believe it. In a fast-paced, hyper-driven world, it’s easy to forget that small, meaningful changes can make a huge difference in the people you lead. Things like: • Share YOUR challenges – This starts with you. Be vulnerable and open about your own struggles. When you lead with vulnerability, it creates empathy and encourages your team to do the same. • Celebrating wins – Turn big team meetings into 70% celebrations of individual and team achievements. When people feel authentically valued and recognized, trust grows. • Regular 1v1s – Give your team the space to be heard, but make sure you're listening 80% of the time. Show genuine interest in their perspective.

Only 41% of team members believe caring, trusting, and supportive relationships exist with their peers. Even more alarming, 58% of employees say that they trust strangers more than they trust their own associates at work. Building relationships among team members on a foundation of commitment and empathy is critical. This provides an environment of forgiveness, and allows people to care enough to challenge each other. Often teams have pockets of broken trust between peers, and left unchecked, this can develop into deep resentments that erode shareholder value. Yet all too often, the team sits by seemingly helplessly enduring poor results, behavior, and performance. Do you know of a breakdown in personal relationships in your team that are holding back company performance? Think through this and the impact it is having on your organization.

Listening to every perspective or idea is essential for building a strong team bond. Here's why: Fosters Inclusion: When team members feel heard, they feel valued, which fosters a sense of belonging and inclusion. Encourages Innovation: Diverse perspectives can lead to creative solutions and innovations that might not emerge if only a few voices are dominant. Builds Trust: Actively listening shows respect and helps build trust among team members, making them more open to collaboration. Improves Problem-Solving: A variety of viewpoints provides a more holistic approach to tackling challenges, leading to more well-rounded decisions. Boosts Morale: When people know their input matters, it can boost morale, making the team more motivated and committed to shared goals. Listening is key to collaboration, and it strengthens relationships within the team. #rabiafarrukh

Being part of a team comes with many privileges, including opportunities for growth, collaboration, and shared success. However, it's important to recognize that not everyone has equal access to these privileges. Acknowledging privilege within a team context means recognizing the advantages that some team members may have over others. Whether it's access to resources, networks, or opportunities for advancement, it's important to actively work towards creating an inclusive environment where all team members feel valued and supported, regardless of their background or circumstances. Let's use our privilege to amplify marginalized voices, challenge bias, and advocate for fairness and justice. Remember, privilege shouldn't be a source of guilt or defensiveness but rather a call to action to address systemic inequities and create more equitable opportunities for everyone. As a team, we have the power to make a difference. Thanks Guys ... Once STG, Always STG. We will always be the Major Share.

Wondering why trust is so important at work? When a company shows trust in its team, the team members feel more confident and motivated. They put their heart into their work because they know their efforts are appreciated. This creates a positive cycle where trust leads to better results, which builds even more trust.

You're the average of the five people you spend the most time with,” - Jim Rohn. This is some of my amazing team! They are the strongest, bravest & clever women I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Really, we are like sisters. We often say our team meetings should be recorded & sold to corporates so they can harness the benefits from the art of zero judgement. Truth, trust & transparency are the order of the day around here & it's very much welcomed with no ego attached. You know the way some people surround themselves with "yes" people because they want to always be right & in control? Well I pride myself on surrounding myself with women who are really comfortable with using the word "NO!". Every "no" we say to each other is sent with the intention of growth to be better & protection from doing or saying something that will not serve our values. We as a team are surrounded by greatness. We falter, we slip up but there is always a hand thrown out to help us back up. Show me your friends and I'll show you your future? Well our future & the future of our clients is so bright, we need shades 😎 Audit the people around you & you will create space for people to come into your life that have your best interests at heart. "A rising tide lifts all boats". Choose people for your tribe or team that you can cruise with in deep waters. Thank you to my whole team for helping me bring the ideas from my mind into fruition for my clients. As a result, their world is a whole lot brighter that they too need shades 😉 If you need a hand on learning the tools to nurture your team to operate like this, you know where I am...
