India Poised to Become a Green Hydrogen Hub: The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has unveiled the guidelines for establishing Green Hydrogen Hubs under the National Green Hydrogen Mission. These hubs are set to revolutionize the way we produce and utilize hydrogen, a vital component in our journey towards a sustainable future. Key Highlights: 🔸 Each hub is mandated to have a minimum capacity of 100,000 MTPA, aiming for higher production capabilities. 🔸 The mission targets the establishment of at least two such hubs by FY26. 🔸 A substantial budgetary outlay of Rs 200 crore has been allocated for the scheme till FY26. 🔸 Financial assistance of up to Rs 100 crore each is earmarked for the core infrastructure of the two hubs. 🔸 The scheme encompasses support for core infrastructure development, including storage and transportation facilities, pipeline infrastructure, refuelling stations, and advanced hydrogen compression and liquefaction technologies. #GreenHydrogen #RenewableEnergy #Sustainability #NationalMission #CleanEnergyFuture #SEPA
