Following on from our first talk at the Spirit of Speyside festival this year, the folk over at Spey have put together a report titled "Building Better Whisky" which you can have a wee nosey at here ↙️ "The report, offers a comprehensive overview of the difficult and often conflicting challenges the whisky industry faces in its sustainability push. It highlights the difficult balance between maintaining traditional production methods and embracing environmentally friendly practices. Today was an engaging day at Sustainability in Drinks, where we had the opportunity to discuss with the #wineindustry the importance of looking beyond traditional carbon footprint measurements. By adopting a holistic view of sustainability, we utilise technology to develop bespoke strategies that not only yield fast returns but also drive savings and improve business efficiency.
