I always recommend this book for climate skeptics and those with uncertainties. However, I believe many of the assertions made may not be applicable today. The scientific consensus has evolved significantly, and contemporary evidence underscores the urgency of immediate climate action. It is imperative that we focus on proactive measures to mitigate climate change rather than rely on perspectives that may no longer align with current scientific understanding. #climateaction #savetheplanet

Trump has returned to the presidency, with control of Congress and a packed Supreme Court, we're facing massive rollbacks on climate policies and protections. It’s called Project 2025—and it’s a plan to dismantle green initiatives that were once glimmers of hope. How do we respond? With resilience. We need inner resilience to process the emotions this moment brings, and outer resilience to adapt to the challenging climate impacts ahead. This isn't about giving up; it's about rising to meet the future, together. I discuss the importance of Strategic Adaptation for Emergency Resilience—a way forward, rooted in unity and preparedness— in the latest of my YouTube Video 🌱💪 https://lnkd.in/e8aHayGF #ClimateResilience #Project2025 #InnerStrength #OuterAction #ClimateAdaptation #StayInformed

In our next Energy and Climate Seminar, Paul Tobin is talking about ‘polycentric’ climate governance (PCG). This is a concept academics came up with, to refer to a special kind of complex, multi-layered governance structure that involves multiple actors at multiple levels. Paul's talk starts to explore what this looks like in practice. More particularly, Paul's interested in whether and how this theoretical device can actually aid real life climate action.
