Meanwhile, in France. The France2030 programme aim to boost productivity and increase the competitiveness of French businesses by encouraging investment and innovation in priority sectors to drive growth. The energy sector is defined as one of them, and sustainable and renewable heating is a prime focus area. France aim to grow it’s market share of district heating from today’s 7% reaching 20% by 2030, focusing on implementing renewable resources. To support the transition, financial support via Le Fonds Chaleur allots 250 million euros per year. With more than 60% renewable and waste heat energy, the French district heating sector have reduced the CO2 emissions by half over the last decade. France aim to reach 73% renewable and waste heat energy by 2030. Une initiative digne d'éloges. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 The Swedish climate-tech industry has a broad range of solutions to support and accelerate the French transition. Solutions that are already available on the market and need to get implemented in a larger and faster scale. Collaborations are now being established. Let’s be ambitious!
