At Nation Partners, we're committed to being catalysts for positive change, not only for the world around us but within our own organisation. We recently completed Diversity Awareness Training, reinforcing our dedication to fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace. Together, we learned about: ▪️ Understanding diversity and its benefits ▪️ Building awareness of what limits diversity ▪️ Recognising and challenging our own biases (unconscious or otherwise) ▪️ Making conscious decisions ▪️ Engaging in slow thinking to improve decision-making ▪️ Developing a common language around bias ▪️ Implementing organisational strategies to educate and empower each other ▪️ Removing barriers, acting genuinely, and driving authentic, non-performative change There were incredible outcomes from this session, and the training and creation of our working group are just the first steps in our ongoing journey to creating positive change.
