Recently read this interesting 2024 Forbes article, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang believes Physical AI will be the next big thing. Emerging robots will take many forms, all powered by AI. https://lnkd.in/gZAexeVT Back in 2021, we framed syllabus for newly introduced UG course BE (Robotics and Automation) which had the following five AI + one DS subjects: AI Lab Subjects Flow Data Wrangling Analysis and Visualisation- 4th sem Machine Learning Using Scikit and TensorFlow -5th sem Applied AI (No Code AI platforms)- 7th sem AI theoretical Subjects Flow Artificial Intelligence and machine learning - 6th sem Computer Vision and Deep learning- 6th sem Reinforcement Learning and Deep Reinforcement Learning-7th sem While framing the syllabi, there were some of our own apprehensions and external resistances, and of course mistakes, but somehow our intuition at 2021 said that one day AI will eventually flood the physical layer.Now, it is happening(and faster than we expected!) and we are glad and relieved that our students will be graduating ,timed to the market.
