Our avoidance zones aren’t just triggered when the business end of the machine enters an area… … the whole excavator is factored in, meaning we can keep the boom away from overhead assets and the counterweight swing away from predefined safety zones. Here we show a virtual wall placed around a scaffold – the avoidance zone isn’t triggered because the bucket gets close to the opposite building, it’s triggered because the counterweight swings too close to the safety zone. We then swing the bucket towards the scaffold with a similar result. #MC1 avoidance zones can be guidance only or, with Xwatch Safety Solutions integration, they will slow, then stop the machine. 🙌🏻 Tenstar Simulation AB #whenithastoberight

WHAT PERFORMANCE VALUE DO I NEED? By your vehicle loads you can calculate the necessary performance of the equipment. Make sure to always be on the safe side! Irrespective of type, make or model, the combined coupling equipment must withstand the physical forces when tugging a trailer. Simplified, these forces depend on the weight of the connected vehicles, and for road safety the equipment must be certified for a performance value equal or higher than the calculated value. You can calculate performance values for your vehicle combination with the Ringfeder Performance Value Calculator.
