If you watch Harveys overview of his activity this week you'll appreciate just how arduous the Degree Apprenticeship Application process is. A relatively intense process for an 18 year old without any priory experience in the interview and job application process. Here is an extract from his post. "The application process at the BBC is like most other apprenticeship application processes, an online application, then online assessment, with questions designed to target your strengths and get you to do some situational judgement, a video interview, which unlike other companies allows you to re-record your videos multiple times, this is the first I’ve come across something like this, finally they have a virtual assessment centre. To be successful in your application the presenters said that the main things an applicant, like me, should do is try and covey your genuine passion for the career path you're applying to as well as you motivation to work with the BBC and what you like about its key values, they said to do this effectively you should do lots of research on their website."

We’re excited by several new funding opportunities in UK apprenticeships for 2024/25, designed to simplify the work of Apprenticeship Providers. Key changes include reducing administrative tasks by eliminating the need for employers to sign off on each progress review. Learning support claims are now less cumbersome, with reviews every three months instead of monthly. Furthermore, the updated transfer policy gives levy-paying providers more freedom to use transfers for training. What do you think of the latest Apprenticeship funding rules?
