This apprenticeship aligns with: - The British Institute of Recruiters for Certified Agency Recruiter (Cert PRec) and Specialist in Talent Acquisition and Retention for In-House Recruiters (STAR) - The Recruitment and Employment Confederation for Affiliate member The key themes that will be assessed both during the apprenticeship and during the End-Point Assessment (EPA) are: - Stakeholder engagement and management - Recruitment market and models - Organisational strategy - Policy, regulations, and legislation - Recruitment processes Our Recruitment and HR tutor, Teodora Apan MSET CertRP was part of the expert panel consulted on this change. The Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviours (KSBs) will be assessed through more discussion-driven methods, with work evidence, and fewer written assignments and reflective accounts. Our Recruitment expert, Teodora Apan MSET CertRP, has been part of a trailblazing group, working with iFate to overhaul the recruitment standards. As a result of the consultation, a new apprenticeship standard has been launched: the new ST1421 Recruiter will replace Recruitment Resourcer L2 and Recruitment Consultant L3. The single most valuable point of difference for UK recruiters over the next few years will be training/upskilling of candidates. Across many sectors there’s a genuine skills shortage. Whilst there are a significant number of people who are ‘economically inactive’ they’re not all going to have the skills required for the 800,000+ vacancies in the economy at the moment. So you can join the ‘war for talent’ or you can play your part in creating some talent of your own. This might be through training that you provide (we train candidates that we’ve placed for instance), through partnerships with training providers or working with clients to establish in-house apprenticeships. Rather than bemoaning the lack of skills in the economy, there’s a gap for recruitment businesses to think pro-actively about how they help solve that problem. #recruitment #recruitmenttraining
