Congratulations to Theorycraft Games on the launch of SUPERVIVE open beta. A case where you can see where all the funding actually went 😆
I've been following Theorycraft Games since their inception and I can say that this is a prime example of a very healthy Californian gaming start up.
Christopher Tom, whom we had interactions with in VALORANTPRO Discord in the first days after VALORANT was publicly announced, and the team have done a great job crafting and executing a very solid GTM plan for the game, where every bit made sense: strong product promise from the beginning, content bits, constant communication with the players via video blogs - all these things created a very strong vibe around the game ever since it was announced 1 year ago.
Also, great job on shipping OBT 12 months after the announcement - something Chinese gacha devs should adopt (my personal wish😆)
SUPERVIVE follows a long-existing mobile games trend of hybridization of genres, where mid-hardcore gameplay (MOBA) gets "casual" treatment to appeal to wider audience (BR). It plays very smoothly even without prior experience in the genre, allowing to onboard more players who could be scared away by traditional "MOBA" labeling.
Great job once again and hoping to see more traditional (PC, console) game developers experimenting in the field of hybridization of genres, something we are so used to in the mobile games market.
